Smartwool  Anchor Line Shirt Jacket - Men's

My search for the perfect flannel shirt is complete! Shirt has a great weight to it, which makes it feel warm but it also seems to breath really well. It's maybe not something you'd do long distance hikes in but for general purposes like wearing around a campfire, on a boat in cool weather, or around town it is perfect. Snap buttons are a plus in my book. If there were any downsides to remark on it would be that it is dry-clean only according to the tag so I had to refrain from using when doing certain tasks. I am 5' 9" 140lb and the small fit me well.

Such a comfortable shirt jacket. Size is perfect to go over other clothing without feeling confined. Perfect for windy beach wear, campfire, or strolling around town. Likely will purchase more colors to expand the wardrobe

I've owned this jacket for four years now. I've used it for various activities; office work, hiking, gardening, foraging. This jacket has never once let me down. I've been through mud, bramble, rocks scrambles and more and I have yet to get a single tear in this jacket. After all this time, I have noticed that the elbows have become slightly worn thin, but nothing patch couldn't solve. I'm beyond impressed with this jacket, I highly recommend.

Excellent shirt jacket. Office wear. Date wear. Classed up casual wear. Collecting as many as I can. It's one of my favorite things to wear. Warm and durable. Breathable and comfortable. Always happy to see multiple color options in a season, I really like the solid colors the best. Hope this one stays in the lineup for a long time. I will have them all! The old herringbone pattern deserves a reissue as well as the gray/black square plaid!

I like this jacket but kind of wish it were a little bit heavier or what if it was lined? It fits good and is high quality. The buttons/style is a bit understated which is fine just means it will stay in style for several years. It is comfortable for cold weather but not ideal for really cold or windy weather unless it's part of a layer system. Hmm would I buy it again I guess so since this was actually my second one, the first was plaid.

Absolutely love this. Warm, stylish, functional. I've worn it every day since. Fit is perfect for me (Med) 5-9, 160 lbs. Works as a layer over a T-shirt, base layer, collared shirt, or sweater. Office or dog walk. Gorgeous merino. High quality. When I didn't get it for my birthday, I bought it anyway ?? No regrets. I've been wary of some Smartwool products that aren't mostly made from wool, but this one is a home run.

Fits well around the chest but the body is a bit too long for a shirt jacket. It should end at about the halfway point of your zipper, but I'm 5'10"" and it reaches to the end of my crotch. Seems like it's made for 6'10"" and skinny. On someone shorter than myself, you would look like a kid wearing dad's shirt. I still marked ""I would recommend"" because the quality is there if you're a taller guy.

This is simply the best. I've spent more money on similar items from more traditional brands and this is still my favorite. It's super warm, breathable, and looks good anywhere from snowshoeing in the Sierra backcountry to date night in the city. My only gripe is that it's not often cold enough in Coastal California to wear this - gets more use when we go to Tahoe. Also, I wouldn't mind pockets!

Gave this as I gift (I also own the women's Anchorline shirt) and he loves it, as do I. This shirt is thick, and warm. Surprisingly soft. Fit is TTS, yet generous enough to layer. Quality is A-1. The pattern and colors are great, too. The only other 'flannel' that comes close (but not really) is Patagonia's Fjord flannel, another great shirt (but it runs small). Highly recommend.

I have a bunch of high end warm flannels from a variety of brands (e. g Private White, Todd Snyder, Outdoor Research, etc). This might be my overall favorite. It's by far the warmest and most protective, and has that soft, comfortable feel that comes from 75% merino wool. This is my go to whenever it gets very cold. The attractive design helps too. (I went true to size. I'm 6'1 205. )
