Love the Touch of Purple!
Just received my new Koki Beach sunglasses in the Purple Tortoise Frame with Neutral Grey Lenses! I love them! Love the touch of purple you see when they're in bright light! I know several reviewers have mentioned they thought they felt cheap because they're thinner than you might expect, but that's what keeps them light. I love that they aren't heavy on my face. They're very comfortable and, as always, the clarity of the lenses is great!
Favorite style
I am a lifetime Maui Jim wearer. And Koki Beach has been my favorite for years. Lightweight but very sturdy (these things survived rogue ocean waves and a baby -> toddler). I love the ear pieces so they don’t slip and they stay on my head when I wear them up. I’m honestly writing this review as I but another pair only because I lost them on a cruise. They had maybe 2 scratches after 5 years.
A Repair to my Maui Jim sunglasses
Maui Jim’s provided amazing repair services. Last week I mailed my glasses to Maui Jim for repair, as both temple pieces had been broken in an accident. In less than one week my sunglasses were returned - repaired - in perfect condition. Needless to say, I’m a Maui Jim fan for life! 😊
New FAVES!
I’m in LOVE with these sunglasses! I’ve always worn Costas but they discontinued my favorite style. I took a chance and ordered these online and couldn’t be happier. Super stylish and extremely lightweight! I’m so excited to have found them. I’ll probably my order another pair soon!
Perfect size
This is my third pair of koki beach sunglasses. The first I had with the gray lens were broken when a wave crashed on me. I immediately repurchased them with the Maui blue lens that I have now had for a few years. I wanted to get a new pair with a gray lens because you don’t always want a mirror blue lens In every setting. So this lead to my third pair of koki beach. I have two other Maui Jim’s that I no longer wear (baby beach and I can’t remember the other). I even got my boyfriend to finally get a quality pair of sunglasses so I of course got him Maui Jim’s. The koki beach is the perfect sized frame, not too big or small. Very comfortable and lightweight. I have never once had these slide down my face no matter the sweat or sunscreen, they stay put. I happen to really like the new trifold case, it takes up so much less room in my bag when not in use. Yes, the previous hard clam shell case is more protective, but it is also so bulky. When friends saw it they ordered the case alone they liked it so much.
Worst Pair of Maui Jim sunglasses
I have had nothing but problems with this pair of sunglasses. they are very unbalanced. the constantly fall off of my face, off of a chain or shirt, topple off of table and countertops, etc. They were horribly scratched within 2 weeks and finally fell off of my face and under the car on the concrete today popping out and scratching one of the lenses even more. I have never regretted a sunglass purchase like this one. I was a Mau Jim fan prior to this pair-- my 3rd in 7-9 years, though I've only had these for 8 months. 8 months too long. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Wonderful
I absolutely love these sunglasses. I went with the Purple Tortoise frames and the Sunset Maui lenses. These frames are very light weight and quite comfortable. They do not squish at the ears or cause any pain!
I LOVE Maui Jim’s. These are by far the most favorite pair I have owned. I love that they are so lightweight and don’t slide down my face. The visuals are phenomenal!! Thank Maui Jim for never disappointing!!

Third pair of Koki Beach sunglasses!
I love my Koki Beach sunglasses. They are comfortable, lightweight and snug without being tight. I spend a lot of time outdoors around the water and my eyes are sensitive to light. The glasses provide good protection. I first purchased Maui Jim sunglasses for the high quality glass as I have a stigmatism and am sensitive to distortion. This is my third pair of Kiki Beach sunglasses in about seven years. I love that as the lenses become scratched or I break the frame I’m been able to have them repaired and keep them as spares.
