Comfy but poor quality

I’ve owned two pairs of these Duer stretch pants. Older pair started rubbing down at the seams, exposing a white material underneath (only really noticeable if the pants are black, which mine are). A newer pair (less than 6 months old) started showing the same wear plus some thread loops getting pulled out of the fabric, kinda like pilling but bigger. Everyone praising the comfort is right but there’s definitely problems with the durability of the fabric, which may have gotten worse over time. For the premium price I’d expect to get more than 6 months of wear before seeing all these problems. Good if you can find them on sale but definitely not worth full price.

Extremely comfortable and a great fit!

I love these pants. I got the Relaxed version to try first because it was on sale. I was a bit worried because I normally like slim pants, but these fit perfectly and are still pretty slim. The stretch is also great. A little bit of vertical stretch could help, but the two-way stretch that is there feels amazing.Unlike some stretchy pants I have, the waist band of these fits snug all day long without getting too loose. After a full day or two of wearing them, the waist does loosen up slightly, but not as much as I was expecting, so I don't have to use a belt which is great! The color is also surprisingly great, it looks just like the photos and goes well with almost everything.

AMAZING!!

I believe DUER is a kickstarter out of Canada. We had not heard of prior to ordering but once we got these pants, my husband was magically transformed into a GQ model. They are awesome, a tad bit of stretch, great fabric, great fit. He's typically a 34x32 and they are a tad on the loose side. Very attractive and flattering!! Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

amazing!!!!

I just bought these on sale today. They are THE most comfortable pair of pants I’ve ever put on! I can squat all the way down and it feels like I’m wearing pajamas! Highly recommend!

SO comfortable

At first, the higher price tag turned me off from purchasing these pants. But, i went for them and Im glad I did. I am 6'2" 175lbs so pretty lanky but not super skinny. Experience in the past has told me I have to be wary of stretch pants because they fit super snug and then stretch for movement. These pants are not that. I prefer to wear these over my sweat pants or other "comfort" clothes. Firstly, the fit is perfect. I bought a 30 - 32 which was what I would normally get and they fit so well I dont even need a belt like my other pants. Secondly, they are so so soft on the inside. The N2X stuff really is amazing and it also provides a lot of stretch which makes these relaxed fitting pants even better to wear when hiking, or laying on the couch at weird angles. I dont get hot on hot days or cold on cold days because of the moisture wicking and breathability of these. However, because the moisture wicking is so amazing they soak up water like nobodys business. Spill some water on these and they will take 1+hr to dry. I am still highly satisfied with these pants and have already bought another pair.

Best pants I own

These pants are highly durable, can be dressed up in business casual or dresses down to work on austere environments I got them soaked in fake blood while doing a medical training exercise and after giving them a good scrub down before putting them in the wash, they came out as good as new I also wore it for about 2 weeks straight while camping in Louisiana where the weather changed from 30 degrees with rain and tornado warnings to 80 degrees and humid and they were comfortable the whole time

Hard to say if they are worth the money.

I needed some more pants for work+casual, that would be warm and durable. These were newly-carried at my REI, so the salesperson could not speak for them anything good or bad. I do like them, they just run long, (they come half-way over my foot if I don't have shoes), and they don't have side pockets. They aren't bad, and they might work for you, but I personally should have gone with another of a different set of pants I got, or gone with something cheaper.

Pants in Exchange for Pants

Color, style, and fit are all pretty tight More so is your fabric material I live somewhere hot, so it's good to have pants that are light and give some breeze for a change The only thing I'd suggest doing differently is making your exchange process easier to do online Needing to call to arrange it makes it harder for me to justify spending more on pants I can't try on in the store

My favorite pair of pants, by far

Bought these in brown 2-3 years ago and loved them so much I bought a second pair in grey about a year ago... thinking about a 3rd pair now. Btw, I'm a big fan of both colors in-person - this is something that can frequently be poorly executed by other, non-blue jean pants. I use these pants for everything "non-technical", which typically means by morning bike commute or regular social gatherings. But there's no reason you couldn't take these on a lengthy hike. They are very comfortable (the stretchy material is on point) and durable. It's clear these pants were thoughtfully designed by the people who actually wear them on a daily basis. It's hard to describe all the small details they get right. If you're on the fence, pull the trigger - they're worth it. Btw, small note on sizing - if, depending on manufacturer, you sometimes size up, go for the smaller size. The relaxed cut combined with slightly stretchy fabric make these run a hair large.
