Difficult to use
I bought this watch for my wife since it had an accurate HR monitor. The problem is that you cannot just start a run and have the HR monitor work. Each time you want to use it you have to go into the app set-up the work out individually with time, HR limits, ect. It is very cumbersome to use. If there was a way to just put the watch on and run with the HR limit function working she would keep the watch. If you are looking for a HR monitor watch to just put on an go for without having to plan the entire workout, hike, bike ahead of time the Garmin platform is more user friendly.
Great battery life
The Polar suits me. I had a versa and I swam with it in a lake and it died after that. This monitor I take off while I swim as it says it is waterproof, but maybe not the best for tracking swimming. So I just enter my swims on the app. I don't time myself when I hike, etc.. At 57 my knees can't take running anymore, but it seems like it would be good for that. The versa I was constantly obsessing and spending too much time looking at my stats. This watch, it keys me for my goals, and then I can plug into my computer and look at my results when convenient. The battery life because I don't time myself is over 5 days. It has more functions that I don't take advantage of.
Great Watch Great Price!
I really love my Polar M200! I went for the M200 because I was looking for something that was simple, had gps, and didnt break the bank. It looks sleek, works exactly how I needed and seems to be accurate enough to keep me informed about my HR, I dont need (and I dont think most people need) perfect beat accuracy. When I test by counting my pulse and what the watch says, it always seems to be within at least 1-4 bpm. With that being said, I am a big cyclist and have noticed that sometimes it takes a minute to catch up to where my HR is on big climbs or fast sprints so I guess I just recommend keeping that in mind. I wear the watch for probably 90 -100 percent of my day and it is always comfortable, I usually wear it pretty loose while I am not in "Training" mode, but even when it is tight it feels fine and doesnt get in the way. My previous activity watch did not have a back light so when I was outside it was pretty much a waste, so its nice having a back light on the M200. It was very easy to sink up with Strava and is nice to sync my activities from my watch rather than wasting my phone battery. The feedback you get from workouts and daily activity is insightful and always interesting to check out at the end of the day. I do several 3+ hour bike rides a week and the battery life seems to be fairly short for what I need and I usually end up getting a low battery warning. However, the watch has its own USB so it is easy to charge at home, work etc., Overall for the price and features its a great watch and in my opinion one of the better ones on the market! Especially for its price.

insufficient warranty on battery
The watch has a 2 year warranty, but the battery only has a 6 month warranty. The battery is not replaceable. The entire watch must be replaced when the battery goes out. My battery went out after about 1 year.
Just what I needed
I run high school cross country and watches are a must for all of our runners. This watch is affordable andis accurate in terms of heart rate, pace, and GPS. It looks cool and is very light so you don't notice it while running. You can detach it from the wrist band making it very easy to clean as it is waterproof. Receiving notifications on it is also a cool plus.
Faulty battery maybe?
After being on charge for 24 hours it would not power on, just a faded folder icon that would flash briefly when press the button. Returned for full refund..
