I have been wearing these (5 pairs, technically) as my running/workout socks for about two years, so that's about 100 washes on each pair, and they are holding up perfectly. The socks are comfy, lightweight and very breathable on the top, but have enough cushioning on the bottom to keep your feet happy. In regards to the other reviewer who still got blisters - I'll say that no sock is going to prevent 100% of blisters. If you feel a hot spot coming on, stop and adjust your socks instead of just running through it. With that being said, I find that these socks do a good job at preventing hot spots in shoes that fit properly.
Nice Run/Walk/Gym sock
My go-to running socks were so old, they started to pill inside and gave me blisters, so it was time to look for a new sock. After a lot of looking I grabbed a pair of these socks and so far, so good. I have a pretty run-of-the-mill size 8.5 foot and the Mediums fit me perfectly. After testing them out on the road and at the gym I will confidently buy more of these socks. They are soft with just the right amount of cushion, and I like the toe seam on top of the foot where I cannot feel it, vs at the toe. The back upper cuff of the sock is oversized, which I assume intends to prevent slippage on this sock. I have not had any slippage. It is low-profile, but I can still see it's lovely color peeking out at my ankle, so on me it's not 100% no-show. I'm not sure what else I can say, but I will add that I am buying a pair for my husband to test.
comfort & fit are the best
these socks are great on fit and moisture control. You do need to make sure that you get the proper size, otherwise they will not work right (you might get blisters if too big).
Perfect comfort/cushion running sock
These are the best hands-down running socks I've purchased and used in recent years. I run with the Brooks PureCadence shoe and prefer extra ankle and cushion support. These socks provide great cushion while feeling like a thin running sock.
Disappointed
I was not a fan of these socks. They slipped down in my shoes while hiking, balling up underneath my arch while climbing up hill. I was constantly having to stop to pull them up. And despite the claim that they are blister resistant, I ended up with two giant blisters under the balls of both my feet as well as numerous ones on the ends of my toes. I won't be wearing these socks again.
super soft and cute
Love these socks. The mohair (I think) blend makes this pair of socks my go-to if they’re clean. ;) They do wear out a bit faster around the toes compared to other wool socks. I’ve only had them a few months. :( Will definitely buy more pairs even though they wear faster.
Great socks
i've been a smartwool sock fan for awhile, and decided to branch out when buying these. Definitely will be buying more in the future. Super comfortable over a long, active day.
Gift for Christmas
The socks are great and I have run for years in this brand, but these a bit thicker and a gift for my daughter. She loves them, especially the comfortable higher heel.
