Perfect for my 5 year old
We hike quite a bit and my 5 year old never complains about the pack. He loves having his own water and he even puts his own snacks in the bag.
My Kids Love it...
My kids (4 and 6) love this camelbak after seeing a friend with one. Pros: they now have no issue carrying their own supplies and water when going on a hike. They love drinking out of the pack and have drank more water on a hike than they typically do all day. They even ask to take these packs to our local park! Cons: The bladder is stored in a separate compartment held closed by velcro with a hole on top from which you need to thread the straw. There's a short cord (that's not elastic) that wraps around notches in the top of the bladder to keep it upright. It's cumbersome, to take it in and out which you need to do to fill and clean the bladder. I've also found that if you don't close the bladder just right, it leaks. A LOT. And you may not notice until you have a soaking wet backyard, like I did. However, I won't be making that mistake again. All in all, it's a great pack, and my kids love it, I just wish it was a little easier for grownups to use.
Perfect Little Explorer Pack
I bought this a month ago for my 4 year old son. He kept wanting to drink water from my Camelbak and put rocks and sticks in my backpack so I thought it was time to get him his own. He love it. He drinks all of his water when we go hiking and stuffs all the pockets with rocks and sticks. He's happy and I am free to carry all the things we need!
Great little pack!
I bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. Has enough pockets to keep things separate, but not so many to make it cluttered. Fits her great and she loves not having to carry a water bottle!
Great Kids Bag
Bought this for my seven year old at the time (She's nine now) and it's been a great little hydration pack. Enough room for her to haul her own snacks, water, and a jacket if needed. She loves it!
Kids love this light, sturdy hiking pack!
Kids love hiking with this pack! Very easy for them to carry (ages 2 &5) and easy access to water.
