Perfect notebook for pockets
I've always looked for a notebook I could carry around in my pocket day-to-day so that I wouldn't have to take down random notes with my phone. This notebook is so sturdy. I've had it in my pocket every day for about a month, and it is showing no signs of tearing or anything. I've sat on it, kept it in a sweaty pocket on hot days, and opened/closed it hundreds of times. No pages are tearing out, and it is still in great shape. Other notebooks I've had tend to fall apart within a week. Also, the ruler on the back is a nice tool. I'll never buy a different notebook!
Perfect size for backpacking
I love Rite in the Rain pads, but most of them are larger than I'd really like to carry for backcountry backpacking. These are small and light while still having space for a week's worth of detailed notes.
Makes writing fun
I love having note books available to sketch, write a few musings, take notes. I seem to have them everywhere. I just keep this bad-boy in the pocket of my jacket, so it's there when I need it. Pencils work on it and so do sharpies. And they have a very cool retro look to them.
Tough little notebooks go anywhere
These little notebooks will tuck into shirt, trouser, or pack pockets so you always have one handy. The flexible covers are durable and will bend as needed, and the tan dot-grid paper is an REI exclusive pattern IIRC. They also fit into several notebook covers I have collected over the years. I make a trip to the Asheville store just about every time I visit western NC to grab these and/or the larger hardcover version.

Perfect size and shape for my adventures!
I love a tiny notebook and this is the perfect shape and size to record my thoughts and data without feeling like I'm carrying a book. Super durable and thoughtful details like rounded corners much easier for packing.
Trail notebook
Great to bring on the trail. Wish it worked with all types of pens but I get how it’s supposed to be a waterproof journal.
