Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but hole after 2nd wash The good: They are very comfortable and supportive around the arch and ankle, and have padding on the heel and pads of your feet for long runs. I love the freedom they give your toes, very natural feeling when running. The bad: I worn them for a 3 mile run then washed, then ran another 3 miles and after the 2nd wash when I took them out the machine there was a hole on the top of the middle toe. Right where the toe portion of the sock meets the the middle foot section, I'm assuming there was a seem there that gave out. They are also quite thick so they hold water for a decent amount of time. Not nearly as bad as a cotton socks but more than my stance crews. REI customer service was amazing and gave me a full refund, allowing me to keep the socks I already had, and i decided to go with the zensah compression socks instead. Hoping they don't crush my toes together like my current compression socks do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Injinji socks If you have ever had to pad out your toes, pre-paster your toes, use gel caps, etc then you will love these. My feet are very wide through the toes, and most boots are just a bit snug (even men's boots). The end result is that after a long day of hiking I usually have a couple of very unhappy toes. I used to tape the offending toes every morning, and still could have problems. A few years ago I discovered the Injinji running socks and I have not looked back. They are excellent. You can hike in the running socks, they are thinner, but still work well (although they don't stand up to the long term abuse). The wool blend hiking weight socks last longer and are excellent. I no longer do anything with my toes, just put on the socks and go hike/trek/run etc. I LOVE THEM!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great with V. Constant Velocities My REI Heavy socks were great for my 13W Vasque Mindbenders but to large for my 13W Vasque Constant Velocities so I went with the medium Injinji's and they are perfect. Will use on the John Muir Trail.
