Fly contacts the tent

I double and triple checked that I'd set the tent up properly and symmetrically, but the fly still almost touched the tent body in one location and was maybe an inch away in three others. With even a slight wind, the fly would make contact and transfer moisture to the inside of the tent. This seems to be a design fault where the vestibules join the rest of the fly--they are only tensioned in one axis and not in the other, so they sag down toward the tent body. It looks like they tried to solve this problem by adding guys, but only on two of the four panels. I'm sorry to have to write a bad review, because I like everything else about the tent, but this is a fundamental problem and I don't think the tent is fit for purpose. There's one other fairly serious flaw, which is that the vestibules are too small to fit a pack, unless you want to climb over it every time you enter or leave the tent.

Hard to Set Up, Not for Tall People

I will be returning my Elixer 4P. The double linked poll design makes it impossible to set up by yourself, and it's still cumbersome with two people. The poles can also be easily shifted out of position making it impossible to clip the tent to the pools in some areas. I had to walk around the tent clipping a few at a time to get it to work, and a few clips still required a lot of force to make it all the way to the poll. The effective floor lengths are also not 88". I'm 80" tall (6'8") but my head and feet are both pushing into the walls unless I'm perpendicular. The materials seem good quality, but I won't be testing them outdoors. Different color options would be nice. Mosquitoes tend to like white and red.
