Poor redesign
OR has messed up. The Sunbriolet hat was something nobody else got right - a mesh cap within the crown kept the fabric off your head (especially bald heads!) and allowed air circulation. The version I just received is redesigned without the mesh cap - so the fabric just lays on your scalp, baking your brains. Why did they have to mess up a great design? Very disappointing, I’m returning it.
Fits great and pony tail hole was perfect
Great ladies fishing hat and pony tail home was perfect.
OR hiking hat
Hat fits well and extremely light. Brim is wide enough to provide adequate protection from the sun and the venting allows for cooling. I am glad a spent a few extra dollars for this comfort. Looks good too, brim is firm not floppy.
Highly recommend
I have had this hat for several years . I had pre-cancerous spots removed from my ears so needed a full brim hat. Its a great hat. Light weight comfortable and I think it looks good on me. The only reasons I dont give it five stars is that it flops around in a strong wind and a sweat ring has formed. I spend a lot of time in the hot sun and sweat a lot so thats to be expected.I've been very satisfied.
Sizing Off
Quality sun hat, but unfortunately the sizing chart is in accurate. My head measures exactly 22.5" which, according to the chart, is a size Large. I upsized to an XL and the hat is still uncomfortably tight - even with the adjustment cord extended all the way out. It's too bad, because I like the hat otherwise.
The brim is screwed up
The brim of this hat is weird. It goes in a wave pattern around the edge. Up in some spots and down in others. It makes the wearer look like an idiot. It will not correct itself. Have had it for a year and I thought maybe the plastic in the rim would relax. WRONG.
awkward but practical
Generally a great hat. The brim is wavy. I suspect the plastic ring in the lip is a bit too big for the hat. Does make it look awkward
