Great for hiking and beach!
I bought this hat for my husband, he uses it for hiking and when we go to the beach. It has a light feeling, and covers pretty well front and back! It providers the protection needed from those UV

feels nice, but NOT for big heads
Just received my hat. I had ordered the largest size, since I normally wear a size 8 (about 25 inches), but it was still amazingly small. I assumed it would be a little tight and would stretch out over time, however, I could barely even pull this onto my head. I wouldn't even consider trying to break it in since it is just so small. Will be shipping back and trying the REI wanderer hat next. If that doesn't work out, I'll have to shell out big bucks for the Tilley. In the end, this should be a very nice hat for someone with a size 7 1/2 head and smaller. Just wish it could s t r e t c h a bit more!

Almost Perfect

I now own this version of the Horizon Breeze Brimmer Hat and the previous version. Comparing the this version with the prior version the pros are that the newer hat is much lighter, more comfortable, better breathability, and greatly improved cinch control. The cons include the brim is not as firm and the moisture wicking head band is missing. All-in-all, this is hat offers great sun protection, incredible ventilation,is super lightweight, and can be worn, extremely comfortably all day long. It's the best sun hat I've ever tried including brands that are double or triple the price.

Fits my big head !

Great “wet” hat! It fits my big head and I’m a seven and five eights fitted hat . Brings out well and dries fast. Keeps my head cool for sure . Very lightweight.

cool & comfy hat for outdoor

I have always been wearing just cap for outdoor activities but it doesn't provide enough sun protection for my cheeks. This hat has a wider brim and it is the most comfy among all the hats I tried on at the store (n its pretty cute!). It has good ventilation which is very important in the hot southern California summer. The hat is extremely package which I like. The brim is soft so I do see it wouldn't work for windy situation. In my case this hat works for me.

Good sun protection that fits over my CI

I had cochlear implant surgery earlier this year found that a ball cap, even loosened way up, is uncomfortable to wear. This hat (large) fits comfortably over my processor, with the added benefit of providing a little extra security holding my processor in place during outdoor activities. It’s also more sun protection than a cap. It keeps my head cool even in the extreme heat and humidity of Texas summer. Like most hats in this style, it’s definitely a “dad” hat, but I like to think I at least look like a cool dad.

Awesome hat for adventures!

I bought this hat for a hippie festival in the woods. It did great . It can fold down and fit into my day bag and doesn't wrinkle. It breathes and is well worth the price. I love it! I also love it came in sizes, I've got a big noggin and curly hair ;)

Great sun hat

Bought this to keep sun off my face and neck while canoeing the BWCA in July. It more than exceeded my expectations- it's comfortable, you hardly know it's there, it's cool even in the summer heat, and does a fine job of shading face/neck. I recommend it highly.

Keeps the sun off my face

100 miles so far on the AT and no major complaints. It's super lightweight and does what I needed it to do, which is keep the sun off my face and neck. It gets a little annoying when it's wet though and thd brim starts to droop in front of my eyes.
