New fabric doesn’t hold up.

I’ve been wearing the 7” Launch shorts over three different redesigns now and this new redesign is a mixed bag. I like the new pocket design that is deeper allowing for larger phones and better security for keys. Also the internal phone/key pocket is a nice touch. My major grip is that the new material is falling apart. I have pairs from the old design that I bought in 2015 and they are holding up great over tons of runs, hikes and washes. My new ones have snags and pilling in the fabric after only 5 months of wear. Kind of a shame. It’s nice to have a new stretchy fabric but I find myself reaching for the older pair more.

Cool and comfy running shorts

These running shorts have a mesh liner and the verdict is still out on my preference there. I haven't had a mesh liner since running XC in HS. I have been running with compression briefs the past few years and like how it keeps everything locked into place, so was a little skeptical that I would be able to come away without any chafing with these. So far, so good, but haven't had a chance to do any long runs yet. My biggest issue and probably due more to the color I chose (green), but the sweat really shows through, so it pretty much looked like I peed myself. Other than that, they seemed to keep me cool, so that was a benefit over the compression briefs, and were comfortable and lightweight.

Great for ANY Workout!

Workout shorts are either a hit or miss. Most of the time, workout shorts have really big pockets, and when you put your phone or keys in them, they swing around your torso, and make them so annoying you carry everything in your hand; however, these shorts are perfect. They do not have the pocket problem, and I feel the 7' inseam is ideal. In a workout, I don't want a long short, but I don't want a short one either. The 7' is perfect, and makes it ideal for leg day, running, or even to sleep in. Yes, I say sleep because the ventilation is perfect. It feels as if you aren't wearing anything. With 5 children, I am not going to sleep without shorts on. This short delivers on every category. I HIGHLY recommend this short for any type of workout, and it feels great with the 6' boxer-joc underneath.

Runs large in mid-section

I am normally a large in Under Armor and I got a L in this shirt....fits perfect... in the shoulder. There is a ton of excess fabric around the belly, waist -- more like an XL or bigger. And I am not a super skinny guy (nor do I have disproportionally large shoulders). I suppose if you want a looser, mumu-style fit around the mid-section as you run around, this would be perfect. It is also a bit on the long side, so unless you are really tall (6'3" or taller) I would not get a Tall size.

Crossfit ... check

Light weight. Wicks away sweat. Elastic fabric allows free movement without any restriction. It's a win.

Excellent mens shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit and material, I am 5'7" and this are the perfect fit, the launch SW 7" is not too long nor too short for my height other longer shorts makes me look shorter in height, other shorts are too long below the knee or on top of the knee, which makes it very uncomfortable, the only thing I am not particularly fan off is the extra pocket inside the right pocket, some time when I put my smartphone in my pocket it lands on the shorter one and it falls off it.

Great running shorts

The sizing and fit is great, I like how the fabric feels (not that slippery feeling), and a cool design. The internal phone pocket is amazing, but I found my phone (iPhone 6S) to bounce a little more than I would like during runs. Having a second internal phone pocket in the left one would be awesome so my keys don't bounce around! My waist is 32-33" (M is what I usually get), but the waistband is a little too tight.

Love these shorts

I had two pairs of these shorts, and just ordered 2 more in different color schemes. I really like the 7" because they are above the knee a little bit, but not too short. Nice happy medium between the 5" and the 9" shorts. I was skeptical of the mesh netting when I bought my first pair, but it is far superior to running in compression shorts with shorts over the top. Much more comfortable.

Not for squats

Hello! A feedback on your shorts. I use them for weight lifting among other workouts. They are ripping during squats (two of them in the last 5 months). Suggestions: - offer more shorts with shorter inseam - build shorts that are made for squats (ripping-proof, gliding on the thighs, lining, stretching in 4 directions) Thanks for your consideration! I like your brand. CM

Favorite shorts!

I love these shorts. Bought a pair and the fit was so good that I ended up buying a few more pairs for training. Pros - Lightweight - Breathable, don't get hot - Pockets are big enough for phone (if needed) - Small pocket for a key (non-zipper) Cons - The inside mesh. Easy fix, I cut out the mesh and the fit is perfect. Uses - Powerlifiting, running, HIIT workouts
