Rated 1 out of 5 by from The shirt failed me but customer service was worse My shirt is so new I still have the tags. The top two buttons came off when trying to unbutton the shirt. They are so stiff that I thought it might but I only found one other review that mentioned this so I took a chance. So now the company wants me to pay to mail a brand new shirt to them so they can access it. Then repair times are 6 weeks. They offered 20% off. No thanks. Then they said they will pay shipping. I told them that REI does a better job of standing behind Arcteryx than Arcteryx. I'll stick with OR or MH. They never failed me and neither has their customer service.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good boat shirt The sun is super intense in the Caribbean for fair skinned folks like myself so I needed something to cover up. Even reapplying sunscreen all day doesn't guarantee avoiding a bad sunburn especially when you are jumping from the boat to the water every hour or so. So, I was looking for something simple that dries fast and has a decent UPF rating. The reason I picked this shirt was that it wasn't full of bells and whistles (and folds and vents and pockets...). It looks good, dries fast and doesn't get in the way. The arms a little long but covered the backs of my hands...again the sun. It worked, it fit well and I had a lot of mobility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Mesomorphs OK too Maybe it's not tight enough for some but this XXL Mesomorph likes the fit since it isn't too baggy but complimentary. Smells don't linger, the material is soft to the touch and nice looking in a dressy sort of way. My only concern is that the snaps are really firm... which is nice for keeping the shirt together but I worry that they will eventually cause fabric failure? But so far I've really torqued them and the material is holding up. Easy to wash and mostly wrinkle free. I might try one if they do a button version but otherwise I am going to wait to see how these snaps hold up for a few more cycles. These clothes kind of seem like something Elon Musk would wear, slightly futuristic and high tech but not weird Lady GaGa-ish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great hot weather shirt. The fabric is amazing on my skin. The snaps feel cheap but are actually really good. Fit is rather loose, but that is good as air passes through fast if raining. You don't feel hot in direct sun with most long sleeves. This is a great shirt for trekking, flying little airplanes with no AC, and looking stylish. The issues- keep away from cats, front pocket is a joke, color likes to travel up with jacket. The long sleeve is sized different from the shirt sleeve. I wear a size smaller in the long sleeve for some reason. Be sure to use a smooth surface concealed handgun with this as fabric is a little delicate. These issues are negligible when compared to other long sleeves.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from amazing fabric, surprisingly loose fit This had the buttery soft, super-lightweight, gorgeously dyed fabric I was expecting, but not quite the fit I was hoping for. Arc'teryx describes this as "Trim Fit" but don't think "trim fit" as in dress shirts. The photo of the empty shirt makes it look like it comes in quite a bit at the waist, like a trim fit dress shirt often will, and the trim fit size guide lists a 7 inch chest to waist drop. In reality the shot of the model wearing a white one is more accurate - it's almost a straight drop (at least in a Large). Also, if you are looking at the trim fit size guide and thinking you need to go up from your usual Arc'teryx size, don't. I'm reliably a Large in Arc'teryx gear, but I almost went XL for this shirt since the Trim Fit size guide says 43" chest, mine is 45", and I didn't want stretch lines across the front. It turns out the large fits fine in the chest, in fact, the shoulder seam falls about 1inch too far out on either side, where I usually have the reverse problem. There's just nothing else around like this shirt, so instead of a return, I took it to a tailor to fix the shoulder and bring the waist way in. So despite not liking the default fit, I suspect I'll be living in this shirt whenever I travel and probably for nights out too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best on extended backcountry or fine dining that doesn't require black tie This shirt is hands down the best buttoned shirt I own. Fits well, dries quickly, is breathable, looks sharp even after wearing a heavy pack all day, doesn't wrinkle [much], impresses clients and ladies [wink, wink], and seems to be lasting well. The fit is true, the sleeve length is great, the hem is well cut, and the stretch fabric allows for easy movement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unexpectedly great The shirt fits and feels wonderful. Incredibly soft and a bit of stretch. I'm 5'9" 135lbs and the extra small is perfect. I think In today's market the XS is what the small used to be due to the ever enlarging population. That said I don't see a major difference in the trim fit and regular. Body is slightly trimmer but shoulders exactly the same which should be trimmer as well. Overall, it's a great piece. I'd prefer a shirt tail hem rather than straight but to each their own. Those are the reasons of a 4 instead of 5 but still great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bomproof & Stylish = Übersweet Shirt I can't say enough good things about this shirt. I'll keep my review simple by just addressing a few points. Bombproofedness: I can ball up the shirt in one fist and stuff it in a compression sack. After fishing it back out and letting it hang for a bit, it looks like it was just ironed. (only mild exaggeration) I have worn this thing for a 5 day stretch with only sporadic showering in a fairly hot and humid climate and: the shirt doesn't get dirty- it just doesn't hold stains... and it doesn't at any point produce any remarkable odor. Its going on a year now and no stitching has come loose anywhere. Everything still looks perfect. The buttons, which are the most durable things in the world, are all still present. Style: As always, got the medium, and it fits me perfectly. Torso fits trimly and the length is best for wearing untucked... Tucking is possible, but a little difficult unless wearing pants a bit too high up. You can wear this shirt on its own, with a blazer, with a t-shirt underneath.. Doesn't matter, it looks good with everything. I have the blue (no longer available), which was a super stout color. There is literally nothing you couldn't wear this shirt for. For business or anything professional it could easily hold its own. Casual and hiking you would never notice you are wearing something so upscale looking. If you wanna be really hardcore about it you could wear it climbing or for other sports. Your range of motion would not be limited and unless you take a dive into a rosebush while mountainbiking you wouldn't have to be worried about damaging it. However, 2 things I would like to address: 1. Logo! While it isn't all that obvious on the back between your shoulder blades, I still think this type of shirt should do without. Why not the little tag from the Peakline or Frontera? 2. Availability.. Finding these in LS in Germany is nearly impossible. please.. make more! Also, think you could pull one off in White???? ;)
