Amazing Comfort
I am a shorter guy and am always trying to find nice looking shorts that don't hang way past my knees. These shorts fit amazingly. They are light weight and super comfy. Theo Lu thing I wish was that they came in more color options so I could have get more pairs. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Not what I would expect from $75 shorts
Shorts fit great and were what best met my needs at the time. That said, I've worn the shorts once, and already they are showing signs of wear. More specifically, they have a couple pills/thread pulls.
Bad color wear
Bought these shorts in grey and after just a coupe of wears, the color where exposed to the sun faded badly. REI attributed it to bleach despite having never been exposed to bleach and would not accept a return.
Not Durable
I bought these two weeks ago and already have a hole in the back. I have no idea how it happened, but I’ve never had any pair of shorts rip like this. These things are paper thin. REI wasn’t willing to replace them, so I’ll probably try to patch them or see if Patagonia will do it.
Great fit and length.
Love the shorts. Length and fit are perfect. Great colors. Only drawback for me personally is I've washed them twice and they already have a tear near the belt loop.
100% cotton shorts are fine.
Nice shorts, but no hemp in fabric. I checked the material label. Just to be sure, I cut off a pocket and smoked it. A little harsh, but no buzz. Nevertheless, these wear well, the hem comes to just above my knee (5’6”) and waistband is comfy. I’m losing a lot of change for some reason. Bought them over two other brands because they didn’t cover the knee. What’s with all the Dad shorts?
To the point shorts that do their job well
My favorite shorts for general use. The tan looks nice with cool colored tops. These shorts are not really meant for hiking but I did. No complaints; they held up just fine. I probably would not cycle in them but I assume they would be fine for short casual distances. You may also want to iron them if you care about wrinkles. Finally, these can show off your legs a bit due to a 6" inseam. In summary, a somewhat fashionable and very versatile short from a reputable brand. Try some on and see for yourself.
Very Comfortable
I love the fit. Very comfortable and looks great. Hangs above the knees but not too high. I’ve already gotten two more for the summer. The material is soft and very breathable. I wear it to hikes Andre to a stroll in the city.

The shorts are comfortable and have a great fit. I like the shorter length on these shorts. I would definitely recommend and buy again.
