How to prevent hose kink when using in Osprey pack
I've used my CamelBak Crux 3.0L reservoir with my Osprey pack on occasional week-long outings and like most everything about this pairing except for one thing: the hose kinks at the point it emerges from the pack making it seem like I'm out of water. I'm considering sliding a 7/16" (11mm) ID vinyl hose section over this point to prevent that. Are there any other suggestions?

All the years of different investments in camelbak products and they want to change the size. Nothing from the crux lineup will work with past camelbak products and or accessories!
Didn't work well with older reservoir
I have an older reservoir and found that the tube was slightly too large for the connector causing it to leak very slightly while hiking. More than likely not a problem for newer reservoirs.
Too wide
Tube was too wide for the bottom connector. Threw all the packing away, of course, so probably can't return. Dumb.
Great replacement for the CRUX
Awesome replacement for the CRUX model. I took a risk to see if it would fit any of my older Antidote models and no-go. It’s a wider tube so you do receive more flow but mounts too loose to the older valves (even zip-tied). But works with the Crux perfectly.
URGENT ATTENTION FROM CAMELBAK NEEDED
I have the same complaint as the three other reviewers who rated the replacement tube one star. The replacement tube is too large for the fitting at the bottom of my reservoir. Yet, CamelBak's website does not list a smaller diameter replacement tube. Nor, does the website clearly specify the inner and outer diameters of the replacement tube.

FITS CRUX EXACTLY!
For those of you that bought this expecting it to fit another model...apparently you can't read.....It's clearly stated on the packaging that this is for the Crux model. This fits perfectly as intended. Great product. Sorry for those of you that made the mistake of buying the wrong item!
wrong size?
The quality is fine, but I bought this to replace the tubing for a Camelbak hydration waistbelt - the Catalyst. Unfortunately the diameter of the tubing is too wide, doesn't provide a tight seal at attachment. I still love the Catalyst though, been running with it for over 10 years!
Doesn't fit!
I bought the replacement tube for my CamelBak Mule, about 4 or 5 years old I think. The tube was too wide and doesn't fit the bottom connector tightly. It leaks. I didn't think there was more than 1 size but guess there must be.
