Details

  • Custom-moldable shells adapt to your feet for a superior fit that eliminate pressure points and improves performance; requires specialized equipment best done by boot fitters
  • 2-part, Twinframe construction is composed of a rigid lower shell for power transmission and precision, and a more supple upper shell for comfort
  • Rigid lower shells provides power transmission where it's needed in the heels, along the sides of the feet and in the binding contact areas
  • More supple upper shells offer appropriate rigidity above the instep, in the progressively flexing cuffs and in the supportive and flexing backbone of the shells
  • Women-specific liners feature a wider forefoot area, low volume around the ankle and heel, and an upper cuff shaped for women's calf muscles
  • Comfortable liners feature a layer of custom-formable foam that personalizes the fit around the shins
  • Oversize 24mm pivot between bottom shell and upper cuff results in greater transmission and power distributed throughout the sole of the boot compared to typical 8mm pivots
  • Flex adjustment system allows for enhanced comfort
  • Heel and toe DIN pads are removable and can be replaced when worn out
  • Light flex index of 80 is suitable for intermediate skiers

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Boot Tongue Digs Into Shins I've worn these ski boots on four ski trips with varying conditions, but mostly on groomed powder. Boots were extremely uncomfortable on first two trips, then I went to REI and had them molded to my feet. Made a big difference in comfort but the boot tongue has a poor design. The edges are sewn with a 1/4 inch seam that dig into my shins. No matter what I do I can't seem to get them comfortable. I'm giving them one last chance by trying to flatten the tongue. The reason I hesitate to return them is because I really like the color and everything else is fine.
