dependable, bright, reflective
I forgot I had these, used for relay running at night, now I put them on my dog when we run at dusk as we have cougars out here. They are bright, easy to attach to anything and water resistant.

They should sell replacement "inserts". Love hate
I've had >20 of these, different sizes /shapes. Visibility is excellent, but after a number of uses the off clicker no longer works. One must remove it and take out the battery to get it to stop flashing. As other reviews state- the magnet is only strong enough for 1 thin shirt. So... use on your waist. I lost 2 just last week... hoping they'd stay attached to the hem of my biking coat. When it stays and turns off.... it's fantastic. That power off button glitch is a real pain/money waster. I need to track purchase dates and failure dates- any warranty??

My second purchase

I love these. I use them for running at night. I clip them onto my collar, my hem, my hat brim and my shoe laces. I do not understand why some reviewers complain about the stength of the magnet.

There Are Better Options

I have been using these for nearly a year. The crease where the flap folds over has become brittle and one has broke. The on and off buttons have become finicky and hard to turn off. I've been using these with other similar amphipod products and those are experiencing the same problems. For a years worth of use I'll just purchase replacements at a discount chain.

Great for Late Night Dog Walks!

I've used them for the past year. The magnets are strong, and they are also easy to throw in your pocket but not too small so that you'll lose them. In the winter months, I clip them on my hat; one goes on the front and the other on the back. In the warmer months, I prefer to put them on the front and back of my shirt collar. The battery has lasted almost a year and is easy to replace. They may fall off during activities, like hiking, if they get caught on branches. But they work great for running.

I feel much safer when riding on county roads.

I've only used this once, on a misty morning. I noticed vehicles were much better at giving me space when passing. When I purchased these, I thought being magnetic meant I would attach to my bike frame, but it's actually a magnetic clip that I put over my back pocket. I think I might wear the other on my left sleeve in the future. Very bright, easy to turn on and off. Good impulse buy while I was shopping for gloves.

Visible from far away

I bought these so I could see my sons from a distance when we were running with our local running group. I am able to clearly see these flashing from at least 1/2 mile out. I just clip it on the back of their shirts and I'm able to see them. They are not obnoxious close up either. I actually came back to the REI website to order more of these because I like them so much!

Useless - They fall off

A complete mess. They fall off if you are walking and put them on anything thicker than a t-shirt. Utterly useless and a total waste of money.
