Intermediate climber about to end my first season of outdoor sport and trad climbing. I was initially drawn to the tango phase quickdraws for the price which I saw as a good value compared with other standard brands. The blue hue on the rope end is a splendor to look at! I have taken many whippers on them and always felt safe. They are nice and light weight with a good action in the wire gate. I took them up every sport climb I did this summer. I'd say their only con is that they are hard (I couldn't) to seat inside a stick-clip. Overall, I am very pleased with them. I also use the same trango phase carabiners to rack my cams. The weight really starts to add up and these help me to keep moving fast. I would recommend to anyone looking to economically build up there gear supplies.
