Durango Grand Opening celebration starts Friday, August 22

We’re thrilled to open a store in Durango! You can find your new local co-op at the Northwest corner of Turner Dr. and Hwy 550. Whether new to the co-op or already a member (thanks!), your membership benefits are the best way to experience REI Co-op. Let us help you gear up for hiking, camping, cycling, paddling and more! Please join us for our Grand Opening festivities, Friday and Saturday August 22-23

There are multiple ways you can celebrate with us all weekend:

• Mornings: Special giveaway when the store opens at 10am Friday and Saturday (while daily supplies last). Enjoy complimentary coffee from 81301 Coffee House (AKA Easy Coffee Roasters) and get an exclusive Hydro Flask camp mug with a donation to Durango Trails.
• Outdoor Social: Community partners, giveaways, music and more—9am to 5pm
  • Outdoor brands in attendance: Osprey, Saucony, Black Diamond, Hydro Flask, Altra, ENO Hammocks, Smartwool, Gregory Mountain Products, Oboz Footwear, OOFOS, AeroPress, Skratch Labs, Tailwind Nutrition, NEMO, Nikwax, Dometic, and more!
  • Osprey’s All Mighty Guarantee (AMG) station will offer basic on-site sewing and repairs for Osprey packs, plus outdoor gear! More complex repairs of Osprey product can be taken in for repair and then shipped back to you. Bring your gear to the Grand Opening Event on Aug 22^nd & 23^rd only!
  • Meet Jake Plummer, former quarterback for the Denver Broncos, Saturday 8/23 from 12pm – 2pm. He’ll be signing autographs and handing out samples of Umbo bars – a functional mushroom energy bar.
  • Local non-profits in attendance: Durango Trails, Montezuma Land Conservancy, and more...
