[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took this backpacking and I got a lot of compliments on the trail! I love how roomie it is and the side zip that makes it easy to access everything. The only downside is my 3L blatter didn't quite fit inside but I made it work. It has tons of little pockets in the front to fit things like sunscreen chapstick and sunglasses. I wish there was a strap on the front for my hat when I'm not wearing it but overall I love this bag!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this pack. It's well made. It fits well and is easy to adjust. I was pleasantly surprised by this pack. We did a 4 day 50 mile AT hike and it was great! I will be using this again on a second section hike this weekend and I am pretty excited now that I really know all of the features and how to adjust it correctly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an avid hiker and backpacker and am in love with this pack. I'm 5'2" and the small frame really fits my body well and makes it comfortable to carry in comparison to other packs. The J zip is one of my favorite features and I wouldnt buy a pack without it--it makes it so you can easily organize your pack and grab something from the bottom without having to unload everything. When youre living out of a bag that you are carrying on your own shoulders...organization is everything. This bag has the perfect amount of pockets so that none of the space is going to waste. I love this bag for longer backpacking adventures, or for just loading up to go car camp somewhere. Super comfortable and so far super durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We only travel by backpack. This pack sees the world. Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis, NorthFace is the only brand for me. The comfort and durability is hands down the best. Thanks for such a great product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great backpack! Happy with my purchase. I used this for a long distance hike and it was good. Lightweight, lots of additional strapping on the outside, felt robust and didn't show any signs of tearing. Loved the J-zip, easy access to the bottom of the backpack. Also looove the colour. Waist pockets could hold an iPhone 11 in one, and a little film camera or snacks in the other. I don't think they could fit a larger phone. The only design flaw I noticed (that affected me) is the support strap from the shoulder to the top of the backpack is only adjustable on one side, running across from right to left. If you want to tighten it, it puts a higher load on the right shoulder than the left making it uncomfortable. However it was generally fine when loose. Would be better if there were two separate support straps so it is adjustable on both sides.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Longtime owner of Men's Terra 65 backpack. Has never let me down and has held up great for at least ten years now. Daughter has always wanted something similar, so when I saw the women's Terra 55, I immediately got her one. Love the side zip opening - no other pack comes close to the efficiency and convenience these packs provide. If you're on the fence regarding this pack, rest assured you won't regret it. Great pack and lasts forever.
This backpack is amazing! I got the light gray/coral color in an XS/S. The color is so beautiful! I am petite, 5 ft tall, 115lbs and the XS/S works perfectly for my short self! Was worried about it being too large but nope, perfect! Plenty of space, love that you can expand it and fit a ton of stuff or tighten all the straps so make it look a bit smaller! Definitely recommend for the price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial reasoning for purchasing this pack was for my trek to Peru. This has now become my permanent travel pack. There is plenty of space for all of my personal belongings. There is also an extra space to insert a hydration pack. Only thing I may change is the front pockets. They are mesh so definitely not water proof. Overall, this was a great purchase and I am highly satisfied.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lovely and well-made pack but it cannot be adjusted for torso size (just for load lift). I'm torso 18-18.5, and S/XS was too small and M was too big. Previous Terra packs DID have torso adjustment, so this is a compromise--presumably to cut weight. Comfort/fit sacrificed for weight. Sorry to have to return it. Kudos to TNF for shipping and returns policy so I could try.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color, love that it has many ways to access your things inside. I like the bigger pockets on the straps that come around your waist, in others I found them to be too small to even put your phone but this one has space. I'm currently using it to backpack through Europe and it fits plenty of clothes. Fits in over head compartment of airplane.
