I really wanted to like this bag as a personal item travel bag but there are just too many day to day struggles with it that it didn't work for me. The material seems awesome and incredibly durable, and the shoulder straps and back panel are very comfortable. However, the stiffness, shape, and zippers create an incredibly inconvenient bag to live with (which my experience seems in line with other reviews). The shape/stiffness/ and water bottle pockets that intrude into the main compartment leave much less volume than what a 30l bag should have. I also didn't like the internal storage pockets at the back of the main compartment and laptop compartment- these will essentially be in accessible when the bag is packed. Osprey seems close to a good design here but also many frustrating things day to day that make this bag a miss.
