Bought two 45i Alen air purifiers with smoke filters to help with the horrible wildfire smoke here in Colorado. Really quiet air filters which clearly show how bad the air is by color coded rings on the front display. The colors do change as the smoke increases and fades which leads me to believe they do detect bad air quality and with the auto setting, the purifiers adjust as needed. Alen has excellent customer service and so far , I am very happy with my purchase. I have one in my bedroom and one in the main living area.

I purchased 2 Alen BreatheSmart 45i with Heavy Smoke Filter in December 2019. Much larger than the A350, but much quieter, and love the colors. I have been running them continuously for almost a year, as well as two A350s which are over 10 years old. I keep one of each up and downstairs, may get another. My house is pretty tight, but fireplace smoke and yard burning somehow gets in, very aggravating. These help a lot. If bad, I turn them on high and also turn on all the exhaust fans. I also have an old AT100 running. I may buy one more of the 45i. W/Covid, running these continuously offers some comfort. I get the silver or smoke filters. Expensive, but cheaper than a doctor. Well built, quality units which blend in with the decor. Highly recommend if your budget allows.

Great stuff - we live in a summer high-smoke/wildfire area and bought two 45i's with smoke filters and it's made a *huge* difference in our indoor air quality. Need more? The other night my wife made a dish in the oven and some of the cheese/grease/etc. spilled out of the dutch oven and onto the base of our range. Smoke central. The 45i we have near the kitchen (open floor plan) kicked into overdrive and the smoke was gone in about 45 minutes.

I live in a downstairs apartment and the neighbors that live above me are smoking cigarettes and maraquana all the time. The smoke fills my apartment and I can't stand it. I have 2 airconditoners and the bathroom exhaust running all the time. So I researched the web and found that the reviews were very good for my problem. So I bought it and so far it works great. It stays on red most of the time but at least I can breathe in my own house now.

Now we have purchased 2 Alen BreatheSmart 45i Air Purifiers this year for our home. What a difference they have made this year with all the heavy wildfire smoke. And the wildfires do not appear to be ending anytime soon. We absolutely love them! Actually, the Alen BreatheSmart 45i would make a terrific birthday or Christmas present for anyone who struggles with wildfire smoke here in California. Such a great gift idea!

I live in California and, while I have two other high-end air purifiers in my house, I wanted one specifically designed to protect against wildfire smoke. I like the design and size of the 45i and the fact that it's very intuitive. Love the ability to see the room's air quality at a simple glance. So far I've kept it on the auto setting, which works wonderfully. Will likely buy another Alen unit for a second home.

These are amazing! We are in the middle of the fires in the West, and we bought two of these and then a 75 model (large house). I was waking up having asthma attacks every day until we bought these. They work! We already added filter subscriptions and registered the products. I’m a fan girl for life. Very grateful to Alen air, and the veteran discount helped a lot.

I ordered two Alen 45i air purifiers. We have had considerable smoke from forest fires and a super high level of allergen exposure. Within three days the quality of the air in my home was markably improved with the air purifier now running mostly in the blue zone. I absolutely love the air purifiers. They were well worth the cost!

Fits perfectly in the bedroom, air was fresh after being on a short while, very quiet, easy to move around, great design to turn the lighted panel off and still have it run. Not disturbing at all. Felt very good about my purchase given how nerve-wracking and bad the air has been due to the fires in CA.

Our daughter told us to get theses air purifiers because they are the best. We don’t smoke but wanted our air filtered to the max. We have two cats and my husband is allergic . After several days I noticed how clean my entire house smelled using the purifiers. Would recommend to anyone
