Still Tried, True, and Tested After All These Years!
Over the years, I've owned several versions of the Mojo Short, and each one just keeps getting better. I specifically use these shorts to teach my yoga classes because the waistband is flexible and allows me to fully bend, stretch, and move through forward bends, backbends, and leg raises without having my buns of steel popping out. The fabric is still as lightweight and quick-drying as ever, especially during sweaty vinyasa flows. I also love these shorts for travel because they're so lightweight and packable. You can easily hand wash them and have them air dry overnight. Definitely a winner that has stood the test of time!
Quality gone downhill
Used to be some of my favorite shorts, used for climbing, mtb, general dad life. Comfy and flexible but the quality has really gone downhill. Bought a pair in April and they shredded while riding a slide with my kid. Her clothes were unharmed. Pea a warranty dept. said it was ‘normal’ wear and tear.
Ballooned in size
I've had 3 pairs of Mojo shorts over the past decade or so and loved all of them, using them for many years in HIIT classes and lifting. But this current version has ballooned in size: I'm 5'10", 160 lbs., and the 3 pairs I've had have all been mediums and fit perfectly. The medium I just received is probably 2-3 inches wider in the waste than the mediums used to be, so I have to send it back. The tawny prizm coloring is cool, though.
Good shorts for lounging at home, waistband is weak
Super comfortable for chillin around the house, but the waistband is weak sauce and they fall down if there's too much weight in the pockets. I wear them in public sometimes but have to pull them up a lot, and the elastic is already kind of getting old and busted looking after just a month. Drawstring or better elastic would be an upgrade but they're fine anyway.
The mojo short you love is gone
Like the Vaha pant, these have been my sole shorts for over a decade. I’ve owned at least a dozen pairs. And like most fans & dedicated customers of these shorts, I think this new version is terrible. Fabric, length, construction, waistband - all bad. Will no longer be Prana customer until they fix their quality. Please listen to your dedicated customers.
Meh
These are a replacement for the old hemp shorts (Vaha?) that were so awesome. These are not awesome. The fabric feels like cheap plastic, and they don't really breathe, and they have a short rise somehow? Ughh. I needed something for Pilates and they are fine for now, but man, I wish they would just bring back the old shorts that were great.
Round two!
My husband is a bit picky about his clothes, not too thick, not too short, need to be able to move, etc. He wore out his first pair of Mojo’s and asked if Prana still made the short. So glad Prana keeps a good thing going.
Bring back the super mojo
Bring back the super mojos! Need at least a little bit of stretch in the fabric! I have several pairs of supers, bought the regulars and immediately got rid of them. The stretch in the super mojos makes them so much better.

I love these shorts: great color and perfect. I would have given them a 5 Star rating if it weren't for Prana logo which is 3X the size it should be IMHO. I absolutely hate large logos and labels.
Great Shorts!
Simple and great shorts! I know some might not like the lack of drawstring, but I prefer that! It might make the shorts sag when pockets are too heavy, but these shorts are not meant for that!
