Gold star standard In versatility and portability.
The biggest things people need to be aware of is what this pump is and isn't. It is NOT the most pleasant way to pump a tire on the trail. It's a very small volume and only single action not double action even a moderately larger bike mounted pump with dual action would fill it faster and with less effort.HOWEVER this ninja pump is by far an away the undisputed champion of versatility, and portability. It is so small that you can litterally put it anywhere without even thinking twice but the included mount for next to the bottle cage is perfect. Then you add the fact that it still has a built in CO2 inflator it becomes a no brainer. You get the ease rapidity and convenience of a CO2 inflator when ya want it. But at the same time the bullet proof confidence that a portable hand pump provides meaning that you can never get into a bad situation because of that second flat in one run. Or forgetting to replace a used CO2. And considering many people carry a CO2 and 2 carts. I would happily suggest simply switching to the ninja pump and one cart. Nearly the same size profile and weight for those that are counting grams. (Im not) And yet getting the best of both methods. Adding this to your kit gives an immediate confidence knowing you have air on tap any time with or without CO2 access and for me I can never go back to anything else.
