Excellent gaiters. Easiest way to put them on has been to take off my shoes, slip on the gaiters over the bottom of my pants, shoes back on, clip in. These gaiters have been great in rocky terrain and tick dense brush. They don’t impede movement and you kinda forget they’re their till time to remove them.
I have other gaiters from OR that I really like, but these weren't a winner for me. I prefer the ability to tighten the top because these just velcro shut and never stay up. They slide down and then I'm hiking with two little puffy sleeves around my ankles, which is annoying. I also have trouble getting the main velcro strip to line up nicely when putting them on for whatever reason. Glad I bought them on sale and they've become my back-ups because I don't really like wearing them.
