Great socks with reinforced toes and heel.
I wore 3 pairs of socks walking the 490 miles on the Camino Frances. 2 pairs of smart wool and 1 pair of Darn Tough. Both pairs of smart wool socks got holes and one sock lost elastic in the ankle area. I wire mismatched Smart wool socks and threw the holy socks out. Darn tough socks held up well. I recommend Darn Tough socks that is why I purchased 2 pairs of these socks.
Merino Wool Advantage of Reducing Odors
My wife wore them on a trip to Turkey, recently, because they are made of Merino wool, you can wear them multiple days without them smelling.
Nice socks!
These socks are nice! I ordered them just to fill out an order so I would not have to pay shipping, but I would buy them again if I just needed socks. The are soft, snug but not tight, and don't have any annoying seams. Plus, the color is great.
Sikly smooth, no blisters
I have a pair of running shoes that is on the tighter side. I needed a pair of slim, but still blister-resistant socks. The Darn Tough Women's Run Quarter Ultra-Lightweight Cushion Socks are perfect! The name says it all. Wore them today for the first time for four hours. No hot spots! No blisters! Silky smooth and comfortable. I need a few more pairs! Thank you!
Develop holes on inside of foot area
I love Darn Tough socks and loved the feel of these. Unfortunately, all four pairs developed a large hole on the inside of my foot. It is clearly a weak area in the design. Disappointing given how expensive they are.
Love them
These are my year-round hiking sock. Great at temperature regulation, stay in place, no blisters. I take them on all my backpacking trips. Have them in this height and the crew. Love them!
initially great!
I was excited to get these, I splurged on these for once…but they pilled after using one time for two hours at a store. They are cushioned and breathable and good quality feeling at first. Kind of regretting purchasing.
favorite socks ever
I love darn tough but have never tried the lightweight version. They’re the best! So comfy, airy, good quality, and cute!
Good socks, run small
Great socks, the quality is apparent as soon as I put them on BUTA they run super small. I got a medium, which the size chart says should fit 7.5 to 9.5. Im usually a 7.5 or maybe an 8. Put them on straight from the packaging and these feel just on the verge of being too tight.
Darn Tough Are the Best!
Once I tried Darn Tough running socks a few years ago, they're all I buy. These are the perfect ones for me; the length is perfect, not too low and not too high. And they're thin yet protective enough for even my long runs.
