[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this when it arrived. Great design and appeared to be great quality. But after the second flight it was dented in the corner and completely separated at the seam/joint.
Used it first time and its not durable at all. Side feet was missing and had a large dent. Weighs heavy too, thus leaving less room for your own stuff.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cracked unusable on second flight near a month after purchase.
The overall look and design of this luggage is excellent. The aesthetic is sleek, the compartments are well thought out, and the storage capacity is impressive. I also really appreciate the included storage bags-it's a great added touch. That said, it's a bit too soon for me to fully speak on long-term durability. I've seen reviews mentioning potential wheel issues, which is something I'm paying close attention to, especially since I travel frequently for work as a catastrophe adjuster. One of the main reasons I chose The North Face luggage was the limited lifetime warranty, so I'm hopeful that if any issues arise, they will stand behind their product. So far, the quality feels solid, and I'm optimistic based on my initial experience especially with Lisa at customer support!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 adults and 1 child's worth of clothing for 2 weeks and still came in under 50 lbs. No zippers makes it as secured as it gets while still TSA compliant. Already had the black one but still came by to leave a review. This really is the end all to luggage shopping. The price may seem steep at first but this is without a doubt the last suitcase you will ever buy. Go ahead and get the smaller one as well to save you time, killer duo combo.
This product is not well assembled. They also claim to have a warranty but they do not explain what falls under warranty. The plastic side locks to secure the luggage fell apart during travel. This forced me to have to duck tape the luggage together to get back home. I thought this was going to be the most rugged bag and I was wrong.
the buckles attached to the interior very easily ripped right out of the wall of the bag when tightening down. Also already have a missing foot support for sitting on its side. seems to have been poorly secured as well from a design/engineering standpoijt
I love everything about this suitcase and was super sad when I got to my destination on my first trip with my new suitcase, one wheel was broken off. I know bags get thrown violently but this should have not happened on its first checked trip!
Isolating the one star reviews and reading those, I see that a lot of other people also had the same issue. Makes me not believe all the "credible" 5 star reviews, and wish I saw that before I bought.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought his in anticipation of a trip. Used it for a week and its wheel broke off. I was extremely surprised and embarrassed that the product I was initially raving over was so poorly made. BE WARNED.
