Good Sandal, Straps can be Annoying
I don’t hike in sandals, but I used these for a float trip on a rock bottom river. I was able to tighten the sandal and had a minimal amount of rocks get stuck in the sandal under my feet. While it was great using them for getting in and out of the water, the straps can be annoying. When you tighten them, there is nowhere for the slack to go, so the excess webbing bounces around and can be annoying while walking. Overall comfort was good, but the straps can become uncomfortable over time. I would say they were great for what I used them for, but I wouldn’t be walking for miles with these.

Cheap new strap material makes them unwearable
There is a new strap material, and it is awful. I did confirm with customer service, and it is not in my head - they recently (last year or so) adopted a new material. I used to be able to walk 15 miles in these right out of the box, the newest pair - I was bleeding on top of my foot after only a couple miles, and a month later they still hurt to wear even just sitting around the house. They've just become completely unwearable.

Split sole

The sole suffered a major split after only 8 months. Disappointed because this is the most comfortable footwear I’ve ever had.

Footbed not very comfortable.

I found the grid texture of the footbed to be rough and abrasive. After trying for several weeks to break them in and ending up with bloody toes, I gave up and sanded the footbeds smooth in the toe area with an orbital sander. That fixed the problem, but I am still irritated by the dangling extra length of the straps. These sandals do provide the stability and arch support I was seeking, but am disappointed in the overall comfort

terrible straps, incredible pain, blisters

For anyone saying that these are comfortable, amazing, perfect...try wearing them for a whole day in a city walking around. or even a light hike outdoors. your feet will hate you, blisters galore. I would not recommend, the straps will murder your feet, cut in to your skin and make you bleed. whoever says otherwise is a masochist or simply hasn't walked more than a mile in them.

Sandal pain

Unfortunately I had to return them since it caused major back and glute pain. I do not think it is this particular brand but more my body not liking me wearing sandals with no arch support

Great sandal

This is my 3rd pair. They have the best fit for me and the best arch support.

Class V sandals

Best river sandals ever made I’ve been wearing them over 25 years.
