Solid road to trail shoe/all-rounder
Yes , I recommend this product
When I'm packing for a trip, this is the pair of shoes I reach for. They handle road and trail solidly, and I don't worry about sparing them if I end up in a gym, the way I might higher-tech shoe with fancier foams or lugs. This model is definitely lower profile, which I'm happy with for most of my weekday runs. If you need more cushion, maybe go with a different model, though I will say I though the shoe was a bit too stiff at first before it relaxed a bit after a few runs. The midsole is still on the firmer side, which I prefer. Nice wide forefoot and not mushy. I definitely prefer Inov8's new shape to whatever's going on with Altra.
