Excellent! This is a well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent! This is a well designed bag! It’s so spacious and works really well as a travel duffel: the full unzip of the main compartment is one of the reasons why I wanted to try this bag (not a fan of top-load bags when I travel). I was a little concerned the “hybrid” part would sacrifice the comfort of the suspension system, but that is not the case: I found it to be surprisingly comfortable when fully loaded. I think I found my favorite travel bag ever.
Avoid! Poor design and bad for your back
I'm so unhappy with this backpack and I really regret my purchase. I am currently backpacking around the world and I am using this bag on a near daily basis. The loading of the bag is completely off. You can centrally stack your belongings even while using the strap adjustments. This means all the weight falls down the bag and to the sides. That combined with a very poor back support system means that the backpack becomes very uncomfortable very quickly. I am currently only carrying 12kg but because of this poor loading system it feels like I am carrying a lot more. The waist straps are very flimsy and are of poor quality so the weight distribution to your hips is ineffective. Overall I am really really disappointed with my purchase and I expected more from this brand. This bag was incredibly expensive and not at all worth the price. I would not recommend this bag for any type of travel.
Sturdy and spacious
Great travel bag so far … able to fit lots in and has all the necessary straps to stop it breaking my back - currently loaded 25kg into it and is holding up great
First time using the Farpoint 80 Travel Pack
Nice and comfortable, 90% full and came to 20kg, clip size issues with connecting to existing front packs but Osprey have sorted immediately, great service
Used as main luggage for
Used as main luggage for backpacking around South America. It has so much space, and even when you think it’s full, you find that it can store even more.
Perfect to out everything you need
Great capacity, simple design. It took me a bit of time to find the right setup not to be painful for my shoulders.
Almost
My previous 80 had 2 internal side compartments , this has 1 , 9/10 otherwise it' would be 10/10
