YETI  Daytrip 14 L Insulated Tote Bag

The kid doesn’t close that well at time, I almost need to force to to magnet to latch. And the side didn’t seem to fit right took some massaging to help fit back in place. Other that it’s a pretty decent cooler but for the price you’d think have better quality control

Just received the 14ltr day trip tote bag and for some reason the from wall has come loose and can’t fit tit back in. Not sure why this happened, it looks like a defective form assembly.

I absolutely love this YETI 14L Day Trip insulated tote bag. It works incredibly well and keeps everything at perfect temperature for my 12hr work shifts. It's easy to clean, holds more than I expected. I don't have any issues with the magnetic closure and it stays closed the whole time. Overall, I couldn't be more happier with this purchase. recommended it to several of my coworkers and they all bought it and they all love theirs.

First use out today, was disappointed by the magnetic close. It just doesn't want to stay shut for me. Was really hoping this was going to work and not have to unzip a zipper with my painful arthritis hands. Other than the closure, absolute love this bag. Ice stayed frozen the entire day with very very little water in the bottom even after being in the hot sun and opened multiple times. All the drinks were super cold inside. Easy to carry, lightweight and portable enough for older folks to walk with. Easy clean up. Love this almost as much as I do my other Yeti coolers and drink mugs. Bought this bag to replace a Yeti Hopper cooler that was stolen.

Keeps our drinks and snacks cold at soccer games for a good 2-3 hours. I think it could last longer but that’s as long as I need it for. I use the medium size yeti ice sheet. It isn’t heavy and I can fit quite a bit! I usually put in 4-5 Gatorades and snacks on top, medium ice sheet, plus 11 inch ipads in the outside sleeves. I don’t need to overfill it so the magnets work well for me. I’m going to add a small yeti pouch to it for keys and sunglasses, etc. I thought I might have trouble keep in it clean but seems like you just wipe it down. I almost got the backpack but this is perfect for a few hours at the kids games.

Nice but not 100% efficient, flap will not close if full which sucks when you want to pack food for a long 12 to 18 hour work day.

It’s so much easier to get in/out of than the hopper flips. I used this on a 16 hour road trip two weeks ago and it sat on the floor of the car with drinks and ice. The floor of your car gets hot when your car has been on hot pavement for 16 hours straight. This kept the ice for the entire 16 hours. Drinks stayed ice cold for my whole trip! Ignore the reviews saying it won’t stay closed…if you overpack it, of course it won’t stay closed. I had zero issues with it staying closed with YETI ice, real ice and multiple canned drinks in it. Highly recommend.

Definitely a solid 4 1/2 stars. The bag does a fantastic job of keeping things cold for a day. I pack my lunch around 4:30am and put a couple ice packs in the bottom of the bag. Everything I pack stays cold through lunchtime and the empty containers are cold when I unpack them at the end of the day. The only thing I have an issue with is the magnetic closure. It has a sweet spot where it closes tightly but it doesn’t fall there naturally. You have to search for it a little bit.

I own 6 different Yeti coolers, and this is my new favorite one to carry because it’s lightweight and fits well on my shoulder. It holds a lot more than I anticipated, and is great for games. My only knock on it is that the ice melts much quicker than any of my other Yetis. I can put a 5 lb. bag in early in the day and it will be all water by the end of the night. I’m used to getting 2 days of ice in my other Yeti coolers. Still, I love it.
