XL Fits Great / Adriatic Blue Is More Slate Blue

I love this jacket. I've been searching for a raincoat that was actually waterproof, fit well over my wider hips, was appropriate for both hiking and everyday wear, AND... had a two-way zipper which isn't always easy to find. While I have not yet taken it out into heavy rain, I did use my sink sprayer on it to test it out and the water beaded up and rolled right off the fabric. I have 46" hips and the XL fits comfortably with some extra ease. The two-way zipper means I can both sit down more easily, let out excess heat, or move more freely when I need to. My only tiny gripes are: the excess fabric in the elbow area, and the interior lining of the material is slightly catching on dry skin, such as when I put my hands into the pockets. The Adriatic Blue color looks looks quite different in-person, more of a slate blue, which I actually prefer over the way it appears in the photo.

Very good raincoat!

I am very pleased with this raincoat so far. It has kept me dry on my early morning grounding walks. We just had many days of rain and although i was not out in any of the torrential downpours, water/moisture did not leak in through the fabric or seams during periods of steady drizzling and lighter rain. The hood fits over and covers my hat well, and zips up to protect my neck. Velcro tabs around the wrists work well to adjust fit around wrists. Pit zips are great too! I am glad i got this one!

Great Jacket

Great, packable jacket for rainy shoulder seasons! Kept me dry. It never poured hard, so not sure about that. Only complaint is it would be perfect if the hood had a snap or Velcro to close, especially when you can't always have the zipper up the whole way.
