Lots of positives but….
I bought this as an alternative to my other 2 sun hoodies, as I was just too darn hot in those in very exposed conditions. I haven’t had a chance to test it in those harsh conditions, but my first impression is that the fabric is very lightweight and breathable. I like that it’s cropped to allow airflow from below, but I’m not sure yet if the shortness will leave my midriff too exposed to sunburn. Also, I haven’t tested out whether the shirt will ride up my back when I have a backpack on. I’m 5-3, 123 lb and purchased a small, which feels right to me. I considered swapping for a medium, but on me I think it will be too much fabric. Also, when I have the hood on, it seems to hike the back up even shorter. But the style is unique, incorporating both the quarter zip and shorter length along with light fabric, so I’ve decided to keep it and give it a chance.
Cute Sun Hoodie
This sun hoodie is cute and pairs well with high waisted bike shorts, my preferred hiking clothes! I got a medium which fits my athletic but slim build well (5'10", 155 lbs, muscular arms/back. Thumbs holes don't quite make it to my thumbs but sleeves are decently long.
