45L pack
I'm a professional climbing guide and a good pack is important to me. Overall, this is a very well built pack with strong material and the 45L is perfect for me. The fold out top is very convenient and I like the draw cord for quick opening. The pack is a little shy of small pockets for small personal items but still adequate. My biggest complaint by far is the discomfort around the hips when carrying a fully loaded pack. I am still trying to figure out the correct distribution of weight between the shoulder and hip straps to eliminate this discomfort. All in all, I'm satisfied with this pack and would certainly recommend it to others wanting a durable and roomy multi-day pack for climbing.
Best of Breed in 2025!
You could make a compelling argument that this is the BEST crag hauler on the market nowadays. It's certainly the best LOOKING. Functionally - Look at the load lifters, sturdy waist belt, side or top access to your gear, separate compartment for sundries, a rope bag! and did I say cool looking? Priced in line with comparable but less feature-laden entries in the space. Grab One!
Ideal size pack for carrying the extra's in case they're needed.
Ideal size if you need to carry a larger rack of climbing gear. More room than the 35 liter version for extra water, gloves and slings.
