Too tall without cuffing, too snug
I've been trying to find a merino beanie that would fit under my bike helmet well for some extra warmth on cold rides. I thought this would sit on my head well without folding or cuffing the beanie. It did not, it came down too low, basically covering my eyes, unless I folded it over, which would make it not fit under my helmet. It was also too tight on my head, making it uncomfortable. I returned it due to these reasons. Wish it was a bit less tall, and fit a little looser because it's nice looking hat otherwise, and merino wool is not paper thin like a lot of other merino beanies out there. It also took like 2 weeks to arrive, and I'm still waiting on my refund a week so after sending it.
Great gift for anyone living in Tennessee winter
Christmas gift for my daughter who moved from California to Nashville. She was surprised how cold the winter was after living through a hot summer, and she said she didn't have any cold weather items. So, I got her this which she wears anytime it's in the 30's which is too often if you ask her. She likes the softness, lightweight, and warmth considering how light. It does seem to be unisex
