The zipper teeth are too small and not easy to engage to zip it. The hood is HUGE. It feels like it is made to fit over a helmet and constantly drops down over my eyes and lets cold wind blow around my head inside it. Not recommended.

Pros and Cons -- Mostly Pros
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: *Very soft, comfortable, warm fabric, it has an enough stretch to push up on forearms far enough to wash your hands without getting the sleeves wet. I've only washed it once (inside out), no pilling of fabric so far. *The fabric breathes very well so one doesn't overheat with exertion, and it makes an excellent mid-layer under a shell for cool-to-cold weather. * All of the pockets are roomy, with secure zip closures. The chest pocket is huge. I can fit my rubberized iPhone case in the chest pocket, no problem, which isn't true for most chest pockets. * A full-length zipper is the way to go and I greatly appreciate that Marmot offers a hoodie with this feature. * I highly ecommend this hoodie, especially for casual use. I'm going to buy another one! Cons: * As mentioned in another review, the hood is huge -- in my view, overkill. I don't understand the design; one typically doesn't wear a mid-layer over a helmet, they go under a helmet. I think the hood would work well for a long bushy hairstyle, or with rolled up, hip-length dreadlocks. But I've learned to live with it -- I've found it works well as an eye shade when taking a day nap and otherwise, I keep it out of my eyes with a baseball cap. * The zipper doesn't have a fabric cover to keep the hard metal and plastic from rubbing against sensitive neck skin. Maybe Marbot could use some of that excess fabric from the hood to correct this!
