I love this pack

This thing is great! I used to use a Camelbak MULE that swung around on my back and blocked access to jersey pockets. Switched to bottles on the road bike, but I got tired of my bottles getting covered in dirt on gravel rides. This pack solves EVERYTHING. Easy to drink from, easy to fill (and clean!) reservoir, pack is super comfy and doesn’t move around, storage area is great for snacks. I started using it for road rides too.

Acceptable, Could be much better

Does it stay in place- yes, is it well constructed- yes, is it minimal in size- yes, is it comfortable- NO. I compared this to another similar X front strap hydration pack from another brand and this one stayed in place better, BUT the additional unused straps, two lengths: S/M & L/XL are sewn into place and you choose the size you need and the other goes unused, are an UNCOMFORTABLE annoyance as the plastic buckle of the other unused strap presses against your rib cage. This is a bad design. They should make the pack, S/M and supply an extender strap for larger people. Had I noticed this before returning the other brand I would have kept the other (Australian) brand and sacrificed slip for comfort. Not to mention in use we are trying to haul less weight not more, especially if the item is of no use to you. To save my purchase and make it useable, I cut out the extra length straps and had my tailor resew only the S/M length back in place- perfect now.
