This LEAKS!! So frustrating.
Unfortunately, I have to give this cup a 1 star. By no means is this cup leakproof. It’s very frustrating! This is the 2nd one I’ve gotten and BOTH leak. Any time this cup is on its side, it’s leaks all over the place. We own A LOT of Yeti gear from coolers to lunch boxes to cups to bottles to koozies to dog bowls to bags etc etc! We are a Yeti household, and this is the first item that has been an utter disappointment. I use it daily, and it leaks daily. I have to make sure it never goes on its side otherwise whatever it’s on will be all wet. Don’t get it. So frustrating.

Aswesome product
This is my second straw mug - I now have a 30 oz and a 40 oz - they are amazing. While I admit when they are full they are little heavy, they are truly leak proof when you do not over fill them. I love the fact I can toss them in the dishwasher and they fit in my cup holder in all my vehicles - I rotate between a Suburban, a Santa Fe and a Cadillac. They keep my water cold for well over 24 hours and I still have ice the next day.
Clever
The new straw lid is a WIN in every capacity! I made matching cups for a couple moms and they could not stop talking about how nice it is to have the straw down to protect from nasty germs! They also raved about the yeti keeping things cool but I am a yeti lover forever for many reasons
Travel Straw Mug (30oz)
I like the look & style of the Travel Straw Mug, but it’s pretty heavy to comfortably lug around & doesn’t keep ice nearly as long as other Yeti products. It’s great that a replacement straw was included. You’ll need a lot of sucking power to draw liquids up through the straw!
Booo to the new lif
I hate the fact that you change the lids in all of the other lids. I have don’t work with this cup, which forces me to use a straw when I don’t necessarily want a straw. I can’t seem to find any of the cups with the handles in 30 ounces are large larger without this weird lid.
Spill proof for the win
The new spill proof top and straw and beyond fantastic. The straw is so unique in that you get so much volume with little effort. The spill proof design makes it perfect for travel, working out and daily hydration needs. I love this product; I got this product for my kids too.
