Is my mini balcony solar charge 80W USB packs
Just bought it anniversary sale. Have a south facing apt balcony charges two packs. I use USB-C for most drained pack. Was only P/C today charged one pack was at 40W to full. Two packs charge my portable devices including small USB packs. Have 4 packs so two charging two powering devices. Of course this being polycrystalline solar panel it only works in sun which is to be expected. Note I raise mine on half a folding camping pad as my balcony has a concrete floor which gets hot in the sun. Unfortunately despite Utah law allowing actual balcony solar, in a rental apt isn’t practical. First one 120V balcony outlet means only half the apt gets balcony solar power. Whereas in Europe with 220V outlets the whole apt gets power. The second problem is no mains breaker means if the power goes out any solar power is split among all the apts on the 120V leg. Worthless as backup. Seems this is best can do. Note is a stupid question to ask about battery life for a solar panel. At least could have n/a.
