Brooks  Ghost 18 Road-Running Shoes - Women's

They are so comfortable and have so much padded space that really make it feel like I'm running and hiking on a cloud. They are just about the most comfortable sneaker that I've ever worn. I'm impressed. Not only are the super comfy, they are also absolutely beautiful! This is one of my favorite colors, and you hardly ever can find a shoe in this color. The very first time that I wore them I got tons of compliments. Finally, they also make me feel great! They make me taller, for one thing! Also, the shape of the shoe is just really stylish and makes me feel good about wearing them. They were an awesome choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks never disappoint! Even after being on my feet all day, they were so incredibly comfortable. The flat-knit tongue felt like a pair of socks and was so breathable that my feet did not get hot. The sneakers felt so supportive, like a brand new pair of socks. The cushioning of the sneaker was soft and my feet felt great, even after a very long road run. My favorite thing about this sneaker is that it’s not only stylish, but it feels like you’re not wearing anything. This newly designed tongue of the sneaker is absolutely fantastic! It does not dig into the top of my foot. Overall, Brooks have always been my go to brand and this sneaker definitely does not disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing Brooks Ghost for years. Last fall I upgraded to the 17s from my very well-worn 15s, but the more I wore them, the more I realized I wasn't a fan of them. When the 18s were released, I saw reviews from people saying the 18s were much more comfortable than the 17s and fit more like the earlier versions, so I decided to upgrade again. So glad that I did because those reviews were correct - the 18s are more like the previous Ghost versions as far as fit and comfort. They don't pinch and rub my ankles, they feel very supportive, and I've gotten so many compliments on the colors. I don't typically buy a new pair of shoes as the newer versions are released, but I'm glad I got the 18s to replace the 17s.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually buy size 9 wide in these shoes as I’ve been wearing them since Ghost 9. They seemed much longer than usual, a good 1+ inches from my longest toe, so I returned and got the 8 1/2 wide. Like others have been saying, the wide is more narrow than usual, not so much in the toe box but the narrowest part in the middle of the shoe on the outside. Plus they are more rigid than usual in that area. I had to read the description again to make sure there weren’t the dreaded guiderails there. Thankfully, no, but just a quirk in this rendition of the shoe. I’m still considering a return with the intent of waiting for the Ghost 19.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have received several compliments on the look of this shoe. I wear 9.5 wide, and was excited this came in a fun color in wide sizes. (Star White/Cyber Peach/Grey). Usually wide colors are limited to white, black and gray. This shoe felt tight across my toes at first. But they have stretched out a bit so I will keep them. However, my Ghost Max 2 and 3 are roomier in the toe box so I will likely go back to that style. I just hope Brooks adds more color options for people with wide feet 🤞.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Ghost 18 are definitely a comfortable shoe. I love the colors, especially for a wide width, as I feel we alway get the short end for color selection. The light orange color with the white makes me think of summer. The fit of the shoes were nice, I've done ran a few 30-45 minute runs in them and my feet felt great after. I really like the flat-knit tongue of these, it makes the shoe feel snug with no weird pressure points. I would say this shoe doesn't feel quite as springy as some other shoes I've worn, but are comfortable and nice for an easy run. My feet didn't feel overheated, they seem breathable. Overall, my favorite feature though is the tongue, more shoes should move to that design. It almost feels like the edge of a sock in place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing ghosts for almost 10 years now and feel like this style changes a lot between each version. I was wearing the 16s before these and i think the 18s are ugly compared to those. the tongue is some type of elastic material and rubs on your ankles if you're not wearing high enough socks and the lip on the back of the shoe is higher than most sneakers and sometimes rubs on the ankles too. they are pretty comfortable on the inside which is a plus! the laces are a bit long so i tuck them in the top of the shoe so they don't tickle my ankles when I'm at the gym or walking around in them. overall, I'm going to keep them since my 16s were dead but i don't love the 18s.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooks is my go to running shoe and these shoes are now in my weekly rotation. The flexible flat-knit tongue is a game changer for these shoes. It made the shoe feel less stiff and so light which resulted on my runs feeling like I was flying. The shoe was very supportive however I do have a higher arch so I would size up next time. The shoe was also very soft and provided a good amount of cushion on my run. I was able to go an extra mile without feeling sore the next day. The cushion and design are my favorite thing about these shoes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased w/new Ghost 18! Ordered peach/gray/purple vs. the darker orange offered. I luv this lighter blended color. Took photo showing how well the new slimmer tongue looks w/ Brooks socks—more comfortable, too. With the softer cushion in sole, I barely feel my high arch supports. I’m borderline Med/Wide. Ghost 17 Med fit tight in toe box, & Wide fit too loose. The Ghost 18 Med must be slightly wider in toe, as fits perfectly & not too tight. Overall, the Ghost 18 is my favorite Ghost right out of the box!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these shoes! I’m an avid brooks ghost lover and these are perfection! I need a supportive shoe after breaking my leg almost 10 years ago and these are the perfect mix of stability and flexibility. The flexible flat knit tongue keeps the shoe super breathable and comfortable. The amount of cushion is exactly what I look for in a running shoe. Easy gliding but not like I am running on clouds. The 7.5 wide is perfect to allow plenty of wiggle room and keeps the blisters at bay. I am typically a normal 7.5 but like to size up to wide for my running shoes. The color way is GORGEOUS! It is super fun and girly at the same time, which I love! I’m currently training for a half marathon and I have decided these will be my race day shoes! I’m obsessed!!!!
