I developed plantar fasciitis and used these insoles with my (fairly new) altra shoes so that I could still use these zero drop shoes - certainly helped with pain relief.
I was hoping to add some padding to my trail runners, as I will be walking the Portuguese Camino next month and would like a tiny bit more cushion. Unfortunately these made the shoe extremely uncomfortable and I returned them.
I've used these in my hiking boots for years, Now use them in a recovery shoe. They have great cushioning, good heal cushioning and rebound and good arch support. I love them. They are more for a hiking boot than a running shoe. Getting a second pair for the recovery shoes.
Great comfort with these insoles at a fair price.
