Watch your water bottle!
The Trunk Bag has lots of storage; big enough to fit size 12 men’s shoes in one pannier, almost completely fit a Pickelball paddle in the other pannier, and room for other smaller items in the main compartment. I was hopeful my shoes would fit in the main compartment, almost, but they are bulky and long. Sliding the bag onto my newly installed Topeak Omni QuickTrack Adapter took some effort - it was a tight fit. But the Trunk Bag stayed securely in the adapter, without any rattle or movement. Unfortunately my Polar water bottle, inserted into the back water bottle holder of the bag, rattled out onto the road behind me, twice, in less than two miles of first use. This happened even after cinching up the holder as tightly as possible. This is a bummer, as now my extra bottle must be stored in the main compartment. And without the water bottle inserted, my rear light attached to the back of the bag flops down to be essentially useless. Two features of this bag that do not function, thus only three stars.
