Astral  Loyak EZ HT Sneakers

I bought the turquoise version after purchasing the limited edition purple Loyak's last year. I absolutely love the styling and color of these shoes. Unfortunately, I bought the same size ( I thought) as my last pair. The sizing is completely different in the shoes from my previous shoes. It is also different from what is listed on the website. The shoes are smaller by almost a cm and rub. I would have ordered a size up if there were half sizes but the sizing on the website is different to what is in the shoe. Contact company directly before ordering as shoe size is different from website.

The old loyak hemp shoes were my favorite shoes, almost perfect, and if i knew they were going to be discontinued I would have ordered 10 pairs. These are almost as good. Fit and fabric are as good as my old pair. My biggest thing is there is an elastic strap holding the tongue. I wouldn't call it uncomfortable while barefoot but i can feel it. I wish it wasn't there. Otherwise they are comparable to the old hemp shoes

72 hours into wearing the Loyak EZ and I am an extremely happy camper. Being a fan of the original Loyak for water sports, I was intrigued by a more causal, daily version of the Loyak - especially being a fan of minimalist / barefoot inspired shoes...my first test was right out of the box, and I knew they had to be good barefoot with no socks on. Well they are superb barefoot given the extremely nice cork insole. It feels good against the skin and performs well even when damp. Secondly I like the liner material at the cuff. Its soft and so is the material fold down heel. Also I do a lot of gardening and appreciate the fact that there is not a bunch of mesh in the toe, which keeps my feet kinda clean when working in the dirt. At the end of the day I am extremely impressed and expect these to stay in my rotation for years to come.

I've always loved the feel of the Loyak underfoot, but the sock liner was a dealbreaker for me barefoot. This tongued version in hemp – winner!! The slip-on ease is still there, and my foot still gets that familiar Loyak feel, just with a little more freedom around the ankle and a fabrication I don’t mind against my skin. I'm particular what I wear without socks, so wearing these all day on the first wear was a nice surprise for me. Has a cork insole too which I like visually. I got the Salty White which will pair well with my summer wardrobe.

I'm a Loyak fan and these were critical new additions to my collection. Love the loose tongue, hemp uppers, cork footbed. They look good with baggie pants and I've also worn them to paddleboard. The kick down heel is not the greatest version of that feature I've seen but works fine. I prefer to wear the heel up. It feels really good to wear hemp instead of plastic!!! I'm a 9 and they fit me perfectly. Not tight, not loose.

It took a long time, but finally I've found the shoe I was looking for. Minimalist, zero-drop, and a collapsible heel. The cork insole feels pretty nice when wearing it sock-free. Pretty much nearly everything I was looking for. Now, if only it'll come in more colours...

Dope! I love how wide they are , I usually always have problems with my shoes cause they are too narrow. They also look clean, I truly love them!

These are a welcome return after the hemp loyaks. Great to be back! These are fantastic!
