Comfort and control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shorts are my new go to for my casual running. It’s currently winter where I am so pretty cold but I still wear shorts while running on warmer days. I will be wearing them full time as soon as spring gets here. They are comfortable and very breathable. I enjoy the thin fabric but thicker liner on the under layer. The band around my waist provides control for the areas of my belly that aren’t fully toned. There’s a small pocket in the back to clip phone or headphones, what have you. The design on them is just enough without being loud. I like a darker short. These have the perfect cut along the thigh so not to rub and cause friction while running.

Running shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shorts fit great. I have a longer torso and the waist ban is high but I feel like I have enough room in the inseam. The material is silky but breathable. The colors are vibrant and trendy. I do feel like they are shorter than other shorts, that are a similar style, but my bottom is covered. I like the built in underwear. It’s comfortable but makes me feel compressed. I would definitely purchase another pair of these shorts. They are great running shorts. They don’t ride up when I run. They stay in place. Great pair of running shorts.

Awesome shorts for so many activities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the most comfortable pairs of shorts I’ve ever worn for running. The fit is great, and the fabric is silky/soft and super lightweight — perfect for the weather here in Florida. This fabric feels better than most, especially for athletic wear. The length of the shorts is just right and the waistband provides non-rolling, non-bunching comfort no matter what the activity. I love so many things about these shorts, but especially the design. The only thing I would change is the little key pocket; I wish it was just a little bit larger. Overall, though, these shorts are fantastic and I would definitely add several pair to my workout wardrobe!

THE PERFECT RUN JACKET

I am absolutely in LOVE with the color and warmth of this jacket! Just finished a Utah 10K wearing it, the weather started at 35 degrees with partial Sun and wind, and ended at 41 degrees. I wore this jacket with just a t shirt underneath, and stayed at the perfect temp the entire run!!! Omg I need more of these babies! I loved that I could fold up the hood, and all of the pockets. My last favorite detail is the hidden red buttons, as they are so cute and such a small but fun pop of color that can be hidden :)

Buttery soft go to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These running shorts are extremely comfortable, lightweight, and smooth, offering a near "nothing" feel. The tummy panel features internal drawstrings, and there's a side zipper pocket for small items like keys or chapstick. The shorts fit well overall, but at 5'1" and 130lbs, I find that they don't provide enough coverage for my backside, making me feel slightly exposed during public activities like running or walking. If they were slightly longer they would be perfect so these have been used just at home on the treadmill, rebounding and just cleaning around the house. Despite not having enough coverage for me, the shorts are forgiving, stretchy, and stay in place without bunching or riding up. The colors are perfect and I'm not usually a fan of this print but they are a fun combo and my favorite pair!

New 2.0 Update Doesn't Work For Me

I really wanted to love these shorts. I have nine pairs of the Chaser 3'' Short and these have been my favorite for years. I like the wider waistband on the 2.0, but don't particularly like the drawstring feature. The lack of internal pockets that went away with this version also are unfortunate as the side zipper pocket isn't sufficient for keys, gels, etc. Lastly, the wider leg is the component that doesn't work for me. The extra fabric bunches and is very uncomfortable, even at shorter distances, to include walking. I will sadly be retuning my two new pairs, but will ALWAYS remain a loyal Brooks customer.

So cute

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The women’s chaser shorts are so cute and fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and I don’t feel overly exposed. It’s super cold so I mostly wear them to the gym but look forward to wearing them outside when temperatures warm up. They are so cute I would totally wear them out not just running. The fabric is really nice and very comfortable. They definitely seem very well made and are holding up beautifully. I will definitely buy more.

New favorite running shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The women’s chaser 3” short 2.0 is the perfect addition to my running and workout attire. I love the adjustable drawcord in the waistband (which is tucked inside of the waistband instead of having strings hanging out) and the small pockets big enough to hold keys while I’m out on a run. I found that the shorts are great for running and biking- with the built in liner to help avoiding the shorts from riding up and the 3” length is great for allowing movement. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable, which allows more time focusing on my workout and less about unbunching or constantly pulling material one way or the other. I also love that the top of the shorts are stretchy and provide maximum comfort while the lower half are lightweight and breezy material that doesn’t rub on my skin. Looking forward to wearing these shorts for many workouts to come!

Light comfy and perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I’d be excited about running shorts, but the Women’s Chaser 3” Short 2.0 in blue proved me wrong! The fit is perfect, not too tight, not too loose, and the fabric feels weightless, making every step effortless. The waistband is soft and stays put, even when I’m moving around a lot. Plus, the built-in liner is super comfortable and doesn’t ride up (a huge win!). The color is a gorgeous shade of blue that stands out just enough. Whether I’m at the gym or just running errands, these shorts keep me cool and comfy. Definitely a staple in my workout wardrobe. now I just need more colors!

THE jacket for running in rain and wind

This is THE jacket for running in the rain. I had tried a rain jacket from Nike before this and it was so unbreathable it felt like wearing a trash bag. I really wanted a rain jacket that I wouldn’t sweat to death in. The canopy jacket is somehow breathable and yet keeps me dry in some pretty serious rain. It’s super soft and comfy to wear too. It has a lot of nice features like a little button to hold the hood down when you’re not wearing it and it’s really cool how it packs into a little back pack. It is very lightweight so when it’s cold out I wear a long sleeve under it and it keeps me very warm. Sizing wise, I’m 5’6” 135 lbs and I got a size M (I’m usually a small but I wanted to be able to layer under it) and it’s perfect. It doesn’t look baggy but I can comfortably fit a long sleeve under. I’m super glad I bought it and have never seen another rain/wind jacket for running like it.
