The pack worked very well for my 2-week trip in France and Italy. I primarily used it as a roller bag; and I was able to deploy the backpack straps for hauling the bag up the stairs of century old buildings. This is a pack that is designed as a roller bag with the option to occasionally carry as a backpack. I am a 5'5" female and did not have problems carrying on my back. I did also appreciate both the top and side handles.
The handle snapped off. Someone stumbled and fell on it. Handle snapped off so easily. Daughter is in Vietnam so is unable to return it. Too heavy for a young girl to put on her back. Asked for a new one so that we can send it out with a friend who is going but Osprey won’t do this as they need to see the old one. They can obviously see it’s broken from the photo. Really disappointed
