Sherpani  Rio Passport Wallet

This Sherman Rio Passport Wallet is truly a Great wallet/passport holder. The construction is not only beautifully done but the materials are long lasting. While it is not much bigger than an iPhone, it still has internal areas for credit or ID cards, a Passport, a small item pocket and a large pocket for documents or bills of money, boarding passes or train tickets, tickets to events or museums etc. I carry it in a front pant pocket or in a travel pack. I don’t put it in my back pocket because it sticks out. I’m short at 5’4” so my pockets are not very deep. I once did have it in a back pocket and it slipped out when I sat down at a desk.

This is definitely a good travel organizer for all your cards, passport, cash, and it fit my iPhone in there with ease. I love the mission, the whole wallet is repurposed materials and it even has a cut resistant bottom if someone tried to cut it open. I deducted a star because I personally am not super crazy about the material, though I will sacrifice that for the fact that it’s made from recycled materials. The inside is also not the cutest for my style, but functional. That being said, my credit cards fit in the slots perfect and didn’t fall out even as I was shaking it around so that’s great and the zipper means more security when traveling. Definitely would recommend this product!

Overall, this is a great wallet and especially useful if you are traveling to a country where you need to use cash. I brought it on a trip to New Zealand and didn't end up using any cash at all, so I wasn't taking full advantage of the huge cash pocket. The zipper coin pocket is very handy though! It fits a passport, even the thick ones, but the card side gets a little tight if the passport is on that side. So it might be a tight squeeze with a full coin pocket and a passport and a full set of cards. However, the security features are amazing. The wrist strap is helpful for making sure it doesn't get dropped or snatched and the RFID blocking technology provides added peace of mind. I like the minimal design and it feels like it will last me a long time.

This is a very stylish way to carry a passport. No longer do I need to have a drab tan pouch around my waist. This little wallet is a super cute bluish color and inside it's a smattering of travel-worthy patterns. I feel confident that the strap will help me keep ahold of it. A cell phone, credit cards, change and even a second passport all fit comfortably in the many slots provided. I was able to toss this wallet into my travel daypack, slip it into my inner jacket pocket, strap it onto my water carrier for a lighter day, or just carry it alone depending on how much I needed for the day.

This seems well made and it looks nice but it's not as functional as I would hope. It's not super clear which compartment is actually meant to hold your passport. Also, there's no good place to put a pen.

Good wallet with a slim profile. Enough internal pockets to be used as a regular wallet. I am not a big fan od the periwinkle color, as I feel it will appear dirty very quickly. Easy zipper, nice RFID blocker as well!

This is a great little wallet for traveling with your passport and cards, OR other small items. I used it internationally and it was secure and easy to access in my bag. I like that cards, cash and passport can all be secure together. The wrist strap is a nice touch. Domestically I used it to carry craft supplies on a short weekend trip and I like being able to tuck needles and threads somewhere safe. There seems to be a little bit of extra fabric where the pouch creases, which is why 4 stars. Ultimately does not effect the usage!

I really wanted this wallet to work - love the vibe, security tag, use of recycled materials & how it works with the other Sherpani packs. The first time I used the wallet with the wristlet my wallet fell on the floor after an hour. Apparently the metal hook bent; I had my keys on the wallet, too, but I do that with all my wallets/purses & have never had an issue. I took the wallet right back & REI was great about exchanging the wallet. Unfortunately the 2nd wallet has a hole in the lining of the coin purse; it just didn't get sewn in correctly & my coins started coming out. The wallet is such a great idea, and so cute; just need one that holds up better.

Versatile and easy. Not just an outdoor wallet. I use it as my daily wallet. Other wallets get scratched, patina, or lost. This wallet has the wristband, so if you don’t want to bring your whole purse you can simply just bring this wallet with you on the go. Love it! Was exactly what I was looking for! (My phone even fits!)

Holds everything we need without being overly large. Was able to take it into a ballpark with a “no bags” policy. Even fits our iPhone Pro. The color scheme is great, although would have appreciated some more neutral tones.
