I love the colorful Cotopaxi bags but just wanted something plain for school. This is great and will hopefully last me through college.
I bought this with the purpose of it to be a commuter bag for work but I like that it has some of the features of a hiking bag so that it could do double duty if needed. My torso is too short for most bags of this size but this one actually sits pretty well and doesn't hang down too low, however I would love to see more offerings for a shorter torso other than the 18 liter bag cotopaxi already carries. Would also love to see more color options although I do like what I ended up with, but as a heads up the mineral color looks way different in person than it does online. To me the true color is more like a gray-beige than off-white that I felt it looked like online. The material feels pretty durable. It's able to hold my massive laptop, lunch, and gym clothes so so far it does everything I want it to.
Laptop is secure, good compartments, cute colors, very comfortable on my back. Same stuff I used to carry in my old backpack feels lighter in this one thanks to better strap distribution. Only took a star off because the front pocket being shallower with the main pocket being deep creates a weird dynamic where stuff “hides” in the main compartment hidden under the bulge from the front compartment, people must like it because I’ve had other backpacks with that same design in the past but it’s not my favorite. But overall I’m very happy with it.
The Abierto has the best shoulder straps of any pack I have ever used. I returned it however, because the compartments and pockets system does not work for me, and picked up an Allpa 26L Del Dia instead. The pockets and compartments work much better for me and of course the Del Dia colors are awesome. I really wish I could get the Albierto shoulder straps on the Allpa 26L!
Few things make travel as effortless and enjoyable as this pack. Multiple roomy compartments easily accommodate the wide variety of trip necessities I need. The light material and well-designed straps let me explore cities and forests without fatigue, yet is so rugged that it has endured a few rough handlings falling out of vehicles. All in all a very dependable and enjoyable travel companion.
I wanted to love this bag! This bag was perfect and fit everything I wanted to put in it. The only bad thing was when I put anything in the front pocket the front would flip over when the main compartment was unzipped. After my stuff fell out twice I had to exchange it. I got the chiquillo pack and I love it.
I was looking for a new backpack for daily activities. This one is great. It is comfortable and hold everything I need.
Love this backpack so far. I got it for doing hikes at work and birding and I think its going to be perfect.
