Great Layering Piece
The Trax Power Gride hoodie is a great layering piece for biking, running, or any endurance sport during the cold months. I wore this as an essential layering piece during a 5-day bikepacking trip near Ruidoso, New Mexico, and it kept me warm during the cold mornings and evenings, while providing ventilation during the high-intensity parts of the trip. It does fit snug, which worked fine as a layer. But I wouldn't mind sizing up to have as a top layer. It is also thinner than you expect, which has its pros and cons. It breathes well and keeps you warm as a layer, but it won't stop the wind if you don't have a wind layer on. The hood fits really well, especially under a bike helmet. I like how it fits around my head and face without being in the way or being too tight. I'm 5'7" and hover between 136-140 lbs with an athletic build in my mid-40s. I highly recommend this hoodie!
Perfect Versatile Layer
I love this shirt! Its super light weight so it layers really well. It also breathes well, but the grid interior also makes it warm for when you need that extra little bit. This is a go to shirt in my closet. I bought a large so its roomy. A medium would probably also fit, but more fitted to the body.
