I actually haven't biked with this yet, but I used it for camping in the Boundary Waters (neon color and water resistant). Not fully water proof, but good enough for damp and cool conditions. I actually slept in it one night and was very impressed with how warm I was! It was tight around my hips - they clearly didn't model it after women who have curves - but it also isn't so long that I *need* to pull it down over my hips.
This eye catching cycling jacket is a bit heavier than I wear in the summer. It keeps out the chill and slight rain. I am going to love using this in the spring and fall. Who knows maybe even a nice winter day.
Fit is weird, very tight at the hips (& I'm not pear-shaped).
