I want to start by saying that I live in Vermont and we definitely get some cold winters even into the negatives. Also I've only owned this jacket sense Christmas and today is December 31st. But with saying that I haven't had the feathers coming out like the other comments. So for my review I want to say that I really like this jacket. It's definitely warm and honestly one of the most comfortable jackets I've ever owned. I'm a bigger and taller guy and this jacket goes down and covers my butt. And even when it's zipped while I'm sitting it's still very comfortable. I also really like that I can actually zip this jacket all the way up and it doesn't choke me. And actually when I do zip it all the way it covers my mouth and part of my nose which is really nice and when I put the hood on also I don't even really need a hat on. Also that this runs big, I'm usually in a 2XL to a 3XL depending on the brand, but in this jacket I'm only a Xl. The only thing that I don't really care for is the two pockets on the front. Usually the jackets I've owned always had the two hand pockets on the side so I could put my hands into while I'm walking. But this jacket only has those two big zippers on the front. They do hold a lot but if u put anything that is a little bulky or your keys in them then it's not very comfortable and with the keys they can poke you. But besides that I'am really enjoying this jacket and I personally believe it deserves more than a 2 star review. I put a 5 star but over I think it at least deserves a 3.5 or maybe a 4 star. I hope my review has been helpful.
I see lots of people complaining about the feathers releasing from the jacket ,, im here to tell you that is completely normal and common for a brand new down jacket .. feathers have sharp quills that can poke through the fabric.. get use to it!! The longer you have the jacket the less feathers you'll see , Now , this jacket is super lightweight and warm ! Love the material on the shell , you can tell it's great for rain and snow and wind,, I have not messed with the zippers much but they seem fine , this jacket is good ! Should not have such bad reviews,, down jackets will leak ! :) peace out yall
Wow - literally not wearable. The jacket insulation 25% feather, but the interior lining is thin glossy material, so the feather pokes through as you walk around. As you can see in the photos, my sweater was covered in feather after wearing the jacket for 30 minutes.
First time I start wearing it feathers start coming out from the inside material
I've bought this jacket a couple weeks ago and the first one I got I literally couldn't unzip it. I returned it and swapped for a new one because I love the fit and the coat itself. Now a couple weeks later I constantly have issues with the zipper and it's always an issue taking off the coat, always worried I'll break it off. Quite annoying.
Great coat! I love this coat, it's stylish, warm and water proof. I only have one major problem, I took it off after wearing for the first time and I had feathers all over my sweater I had on underneath. For a coat to cost this much you have to figure out a way to prevent that from happening.
Bought this for my friend Haughty Steak (fortnite), it leaked feathers untill he looked like a chicken. He walked into a chicken farm and they shot him in the head. If you want this to happen for a funny prank BUY THIS PRODUCT. If you want a real Parka get a Patagonia parka.
The parka is beautiful, great design. But in my first day using it got many feathers on the shirt I was using under it. It seems the feathers used in the internal part go through the fabric that contains it.
I don't understand why they continue to sell this product. The defects and complaints are always the same. The first time I put this coat on, I had feathers all over my shirt! It's a obvious defect!
Total garbage is what this product is!!! First time I wore this coat, feathers were all over my shirt!!! North Face should be ashamed of themselves for stealing peoples hard earned money!!!
